Not entirely sure...Maybe something with Dream in it?  I really don't know.

Dreamer's Star, maybe? :/ (Or Dreamer's Wish... I don't know)

Hm... Dreaming Star? Necklace of Dreams? o.O

No, that doesn't really make much sense... It doesn't revive dreams, it makes them real...

Dreamer's Star sounds like the best to me right now.

Also, I finally figured out a tech for Glenn, Robo, and Schala! WOOHOO!!! :D Finally, it's done! You might find it a little stupid, but... :/ Now would be an excellent time for an in-depth review of every tech, if it's not too much trouble. (I'd highly appreciate it; feedback is very helpful to me) I still need a couple of descriptions, but oh well...

Um, just to poke my head in where it may not belong... how about Dream Bringer?  Or simply Dream Star, instead of Dreamer's Star?

Gives me an idea for a dual tech.

Schala and Crono

Soul Bond

Schala - Araise; Crono - Raise

If both fall, one is chosen at random and is revived with full HP.

(IDK where it came from, but Justin's thought of calling the Wishing Star "Dream Reviver" made it come out.)

@ Shadow: Eh... I don't know... That sounds pretty weird and would be a pain (if not impossible) to code... Also, we already have all the techs. I'm not taking tech suggestions anymore, sorry.

Dream Star... I don't know... Dreamer's Star has a better...ring to it, you know?

Everyone say which one they like best. I think Dreamer's Star is the best... What does everyone else think?

First things first, I'll repost the master tech list: (Along with three new techs! :D Also, I updated Soul Flare's animation)

Schala: *Restore (Restores status, including negated Status Immunity, target: single; Rainbow-colored orbs of light appear around a party member. Description: "Purge one ally of harmful status ailments.")

Schala: *Heal (Same as Glenn's)

Schala: *Seal (Light, causes status ailments, target: single; Schala chants and the red pyramid she used to seal the Tyranno Lair Gate appears around an enemy. They flash and use their "damaged" sprite, then the pyramid disappears. Description: "Seal foe with divine power.") - ?  What status ailment?

Schala: *Starfall (Light, target: single; Schala chants, and white sparkles fall from the sky and crash into an enemy. Description: "Call upon the stars to smite an enemy with celestial power.") - I like it.

Schala: *Guardian (Gives Protect and Barrier, target: single; A red pyramid similar to the one Schala uses to seal the Gate appears around one party member. A sort of fusion of Protect and Barrier happens: the green orbs condense, then the yellow circle of protect appears, and the ending of Barrier occurs. Description: "Call upon holy power to shield an ally from all forms of damage.") - I'd expect this to be her final or 2nd to final tech.  This is severely overpowered at this level she'd get it.

Schala: *Comet (Light, target: all; Schala chants, and a ball of light descends from the sky. It grows bigger as it reaches the ground, and finally explodes with a brilliant flash of light. Description: "Call upon the heavens to smite enemies with celestial power.") - Not bad.  We'll probably rework these later.

Schala: *Arise (Same as Marle's) - Maybe we can edit it so it revives every ally that's dead and restores a tidbit of their life?  Makes it so it's not horribly overpowered but makes it so you have a chance of dieing as well.

Schala: *Holy (Light, target: all; Schala chants, and a beam of light comes down from the sky in the center of the battlefield. The beam grows brighter and brighter, then there is an explosion that turns the screen white like Luminaire. Description: "Call upon the heavens to smite enemies with celestial power.") - Hmm..

Crono & Schala: Light Sword (Starfall + Cleave, Light, target: single; Schala casts Starfall on Crono's sword as he comes down, adding the normal Starfall animation on impact, like the other "Sword" techs. Description: "Strike foe with enchanted blade.") - I knew this was coming, I like the idea.

Crono & Schala: Light Sword II (Comet + Frenzy, Light, target: circle; Schala casts Comet around Crono, and as he spins, the ball of light expands and explodes. Description: "Attack enemies in circle with spellblade.") - I like it

Crono & Schala: Heavenly Peal (Lightning + Holy, or Lightning + Comet if that's too powerful, Light, target: single; basically the same as the DD's version. Same animation as that, one enemy. Description: "Call down the wrath of the heavens to smite one enemy.") - Good

Marle & Schala: Full Heal (Cure II + Heal, restores status, target: all; Marle casts Cure II on Schala, who immediately follows up with a Heal spell. Cure II sparkles fall on everyone, then the blue animation of Heal occurs. Description: "Combine healing magic to greatly heal allies.") - Yea...Could work.

Marle & Schala: Temporal Guardian (Haste + Guardian, gives Haste, Protect, and Barrier, target: all; Schala casts a large Guardian spell that encases the entire party in the red pyramid, and then Marle casts Haste on the Guardian. The normal animation of a fusion of Protect and Barrier then occurs. Description: "Enable Guardian to halve wait time of allies.") - No.  Overpowered beyond hell.  Haste, Guardian, Protect, Barrier all at once?  No way.  Maybe Haste and Barrier, but not all 4.  That's insane.

Marle & Schala: Comet Trail (Comet + Ice II, Ice, target: all; Schala and Marle cast their spells at the same time. Schala's Comet flies across the battlefield while Marle casts Ice II on it, causing it to leave a trail of ice, which freezes all enemies. Description: "Freeze a comet, creating a trail of frigid cold.") - I was thinking that they both cast it.  Marle's Ice and Schala's Light features go up into the air, you see a Icey comet that smashes the ground and hits all enemies with the "Ice I" graphic.

Lucca & Schala: Flash Bang (Napalm Bomb + Starfall, Light, causes blindness, target: circle; Lucca tosses her Napalm Bomb onto an enemy while Schala casts Starfall. The two collide, causing a bright, white explosion. Description: "Blind enemies in a circle with light bomb.") - I like it.

Lucca & Schala: Flash Bang II (Megaton Bomb + Comet, Light, causes blindness, target: all; Lucca tosses her Megaton Bomb up in the air while Schala casts Comet on it, causing it to explode in a magnificent flash of light. Description: "Blind enemies with powerful light bomb.") - Pointless to have a blind all.  Maybe change this to something else.

Lucca & Schala: Sacred Protection (Guardian + Protect, gives Protect, Barrier, and Status Immunity, target: all; Schala casts a large Guardian that encases all party members, Lucca casts a large Protect on it, causing the Guardian to glow while the rest of the animation carries out. Description: "Imbue Guardian with divine protection.") - Drop something and it'd be fine.

Robo & Schala: Healing Light (Heal + Heal Beam, target: all; Schala casts Heal on Robo as he uses Heal Beam. The beam he fires is white instead of blue, and causes the screen to turn white like Luminaire does) - Works.

Robo & Schala: Light-speed Fist (Starfall + Rapid-fire Fist, Light, target: single; Robo prepares to perform Rapid-fire Fist, but waits until Schala casts Starfall on him. He glows white, then as he punches, the screen flashes. Robo assumes his normal stance as if he has already done a Rapid-fire Fist, then punching animation appears over the enemy, with white fists. Description: "Imbue [Robo's name] with light, allowing him to fire weapons at light speed.") - Very nice.

Robo & Schala: Nova (Comet + Proximity Bomb, Light, target: circle around Robo; Schala casts a small Comet on Robo, who lets off his Proximity Bomb as the Comet hits him, causing it to explode in a flash of light. Description: "[Robo's name] explodes a blast of Light magic, causing an explosion of light around him.") - Nice.

Glenn & Schala: Divine Storm (Water II + Holy, Light, target: all; Glenn begins casting Water II as Schala casts Holy Light. Glowing white rain pours down to smite enemies. Description: "Smite enemies with divine water." Idea From: Shadow D. Darkman) - Could work.

Glenn & Schala: Pure Heal (Heal + Restore, restores status, target: all; Similar to Full Heal. Schala casts Restore on Glenn, who then casts Heal to spread it to everyone.) - There's a lot of these same techs...

Glenn & Schala: Holy Water (Water + Holy, Light, target: circle; Glenn casts Water, but the bubble does not pop when it reaches the enemy. Schala then casts Holy Light on it, causing a beam of light to go into the water. It glows white, and explodes. Description: "Smite enemies in a circle with divine water.") - I like this a lot.

Ayla & Schala: Star Toss (Starfall + Boulder Toss, Light, target: circle; Schala casts Starfall on Ayla, and she grabs the stars, then hurls them onto an enemy. Description: "Call down stars for [Ayla's name] to throw at enemies in a circle.") - Nice.

Ayla & Schala: Comet Throw (Comet + Boulder Toss, Light, target: circle; Schala casts Comet on Ayla, who throws it onto an enemy. It explodes there. Description: "Call down a comet for [Ayla's name] to throw at enemies in a circle.") - Nice

Ayla & Schala: Greatstone (Guardian + Boulder Toss, non-elemental, target: all; Schala casts a modified version of Guardian that causes the three beams of light to condense on Ayla, causing her to glow white. The Grandstone sprite then phases into existence above her, and she hurls it at the enemies. (If we're going to have attacks inspired by Dreamreaver and Heavenly Tears, why not Grandstone as well, I thought? ;) Description: "Increase [Ayla's name]'s strength with magic, allowing her to crush enemies with a huge boulder.") - I like it.

Janus & Schala: Twilight Bomb (Starfall + Dark Bomb, non-elemental, target: circle; Schala calls down stars that are encased in Janus's Dark Bomb. As it explodes, the stars spread out with a flash. Description: "Blast enemies in a circle with light and darkness.") - This would look totally kick ass if we get this to work out properly.

Janus & Schala: Twilight Blast (Comet + Dark Mist, non-elemental, target: all; Janus summons his Dark Mist, but it stays in the center of the screen while Schala summons her Comet. When they collide, a huge explosion and flash occurs. Description: "Blast all enemies with light and darkness.") - Interesting.

Janus & Schala: Black Wind (Dark Mist + Arise, inflicts high damage on all enemies and may cause instant death and/or other status ailments, Shadow, target: all; Janus casts Dark Mist, but it's smaller than usual and stays in the center of the screen while Schala casts Arise on it. The angels spread out, and the Dark Mist blows across the screen. Description: "Attack enemies with the Black Wind of death.") - I saw this coming.  I like the idea.  Maybe we could work it out to look better.

Crono, Marle, Schala: Angel's Blessing (Arise + Arise + Raise, heals and casts "auto-raise", target: all; With their combined spells, Schala, Marle, and Crono call down a large angel that spreads its hands out and bathes the party in light. Description: "Summon a powerful angel to bless allies with divine protection.") - Isn't this like Life-Line?

Crono, Lucca, Schala: Soul Flare (Flare + Raise + Holy, or Flare + Raise + Starfall if that's too powerful, non-elemental, target: all; Schala casts Holy/Starfall on Lucca, who glows with a white aura. Crono casts Raise on her, and she unleashes a turquoise Flare that explodes slowly, (i.e. maybe half-second pause between each "boom") leaves colored sparkles in its wake, and tints the screen blue. Description: "Create a magical blast of pure spiritual energy.") - Interesting.

Crono, Robo, Schala: Flash Frenzy (Frenzy + Rapid-fire Fist + Starfall, Light, causes Confuse, target: all; Crono and Robo dash around the battlefield bashing/slicing stuff while Schala begins casting Starfall. When she casts it, stars fly everywhere across the screen, there's a flash, and everyone returns to their normal positions.) - This is cool.

Crono, Glenn, Schala: Holy Smite/Holy Cross (Cleave + Aerial Strike + Holy, or Cyclone + Slurp Cut + Holy if that's too powerful, (use the second name in that case) Light, target: single; Schala begins casting while Glenn and Crono ready their techs. Schala casts Holy Light on both of them, causing their swords to glow white, then they rush at the enemy, causing a white explosion on contact. (If you decide to use "Holy Cross", just have Crono and Glenn do their normal X-Strike animation with white lines instead of red) Description: "Smite enemies with holy blade.") - Neat

Crono, Ayla, Schala: Dreamstone Crush (Raise + Boulder Toss + Guardian, non-elemental, target: all; Schala casts Guardian to boost Ayla's strength like with Greatstone while Crono summons a large dreamstone with Raise. Ayla hurls the dreamstone at the enemies. Description: "Summon a large dreamstone and increase [Ayla's name]'s strength so she can hurl it at enemies.") - She loves to throw rocks.

Marle, Lucca, Schala: Trinity (Fire II + Ice II + Comet, Shadow, target: all; Everyone combines their spells in the middle of the battlefield, creating a white orb that expands and explodes as it glows red, blue, and white, ending with a flash. Description: "Blast enemies with three powerful spells.") - I like it.  It's like Delta Force except with the 3 female casters ^_^

Marle, Robo, Schala: Prismatic Beam (Laser Spin + Ice + Comet, Light, target: all; Marle freezes Robo, then Schala casts Comet on him. The ice shimmers and disappears, but Robo now glows white. He jumps up in the air and a giant, rainbow colored laser is fired down and sweeps across the battlefield.) - Neat.

Marle, Glenn, Schala: Starlight (Arise + Heal + Starfall, Light, heals allies, damages enemies, target: all; Schala casts Starfall as Marle casts Arise, causing the screen to go dark and stars to cover the background, like a starlit night sky. Glenn then casts Heal, causing a slow flash of light. When it clears, healing sparkles appear around the party and white, Starfall sparkles appear around enemies. (Not sure if it's possible to attack and heal at the same time, but if CC could do it, then maybe...) Description: "Call upon the stars to smite enemies and heal allies.") - Could work

Marle, Ayla, Schala: Prism Kick (Ice + Starfall + Triple Kick, Light, target: single; Marle casts Ice on Ayla as she rushes up, then as she comes down, ice forms. Schala then casts Starfall, turning the ice block to shine like a prism, then shatter) - Neat

Lucca, Robo, Schala: Supernova (Flare + Proximity Bomb + Starfall, Light, target: all; Robo jumps to the center of the battlefield and Schala casts Starfall on him as he lets off a Proximity Bomb, causing the stars to explode into light as Lucca casts Flare on them, causing a huge explosion of light. Description: "[Robo's name] blasts stars while [Lucca's name] increases their power with Flare.") - Nice.

Lucca, Glenn, Schala: Blazing Lights (Water + Fire II + Holy, Light, target: line of sight; Glenn casts Water on Schala while she casts Holy on herself, creating an orb of light. Lucca then casts Fire II on the orb, causing it to burn with white fire, and the orb flies across a line of enemies, leaving white fire and light in its wake. Description: "Create holy fire to smite enemies.") - Nice

Lucca, Ayla, Schala: Meteor (Fire + Comet + Tail Spin, Fire, target: all; Schala begins casting Comet while Ayla jumps to the center of the battlefield and begins using Tail Spin as Lucca casts Fire on her. Schala's Comet arrives as Ayla spins and intensifies the fire, turning it into a whirlwind of flame around her. The inferno jumps up to burn Schala's Comet, turning it into a large, flaming meteor. It falls, causing a huge fiery explosion. Description: "Burn a comet, transforming it into a flaming sphere of destruction.") - Now this is cool.

Robo, Glenn, Schala: Holy Frog Smash (Frog Squash + Holy + Cure Beam, Light, partially affected by Glenn's remaining HP, target: all; Robo uses Cure Beam on Glenn while Schala casts Holy on him. He glows white, then jumps into the center of the screen. The screen flashes, and Glenn turns into a white-tinted version of the frog he summons in Frog Squash. He jumps around, leaving explosions of light/sparkles in his wake, then jumps back to the center of the screen. Beams of light shoot out from him, the screen flashes, and Glenn reverts to his normal form. All enemies turn white and use their "damaged" sprite while the attack happens. Description: "Turn [Glenn's name] into a holy frog and have him smite foes.") - Hm..

Robo, Ayla, Schala: Grand Slam (Starfall + Cat Attack + Robo Tackle, Light, target: single; Schala casts Starfall on Ayla and Robo, covering them in sparkles, then they dash forward and slam into an enemy with a short flash on contact. Description: "Smash enemy with celestial energy." Idea from: mav) - Neat.

Glenn, Ayla, Schala: Comet Strike (Aerial Strike + Boulder Toss + Comet, Light, target: line of sight; Schala casts Comet on Glenn as he runs and jumps onto Ayla, who hurls him across the battlefield as he trails explosions of light. Description: "Imbue [Glenn's name] with light magic and hurl him through enemies.") - Could work.

Lucca, Janus, Schala: Eclipse (Dark Mist + Fire + Holy, or Dark Bomb + Fire + Holy if that's too powerful, Shadow, target: all; Schala begins casting Holy, and an orb of white light appears in the sky. Lucca casts Fire on it, causing it to burn with white fire, then Janus casts his spell, causing it to darken. The screen darkens, and beams of darkness shoot down upon enemies. Description: "Create a magical eclipse, blasting foes with dark energy.") - Nice.

Crono, Janus, Schala: Gaia's Dream (Luminaire + Dark Matter + Holy, non-elemental, target: all, requires Rainbow Gemstone. This is stemmed from the Dreamreaver idea, thus "Dream" in the name. Non-elemental; Janus summons a pyramid of Dark Matter similar to Lavos's pyramid-like thing he creates with Dreamreaver, only black. Right as it closes, Crono summons Luminaire, trapping the green orb of holy light stuff inside the pyramid. Then, Schala casts Holy Light, causing the pyramid to glow white and explode. Flashes of various time periods occur, then a bright, slow flash happens, similarly to what happens when you defeat Lavos. Description: "Unleash an enormous output of magic power, summoning the planet's energy to smite enemies.") - Not sure if we could do the time period swapping...Odd enough, those are techs used by Lavos.  The thing is, they don't appear correctly on any map except the Tesseract.

I'm sorry...to me, Holy Frog Smash sounds ridiculous. The attack is cool, but the name...? Hm...

I don't know if the alternatives are any better, but I cracked up laughing when I read 'Holy Frog Smash,' so...:

Holy Frog Smite?

It's two different Techs, Katie. Schala's "Holy" spell and Glenn's "Frog Smash" attack.

That's a lot of triple techs...

Wait, not only Crono but now Schala too will have triple techs for every posible not-including-Magus party combination?

Every character has a triple tech with every party combination, not just Crono...

Also, yeah, Temporal Guardian is a bit overpowered...hm... I'll get rid of it and have Sacred Protection just give Protect and Barrier to everyone. That leaves one tech with Marle though... :/ Also, what if I make her tech growth go Starfall -> Comet -> Guardian? Would that work? And I'm not entirely sure about what status ailments Seal should inflict... Definitely Stop, but some other stuff would be good too...

Holy Frog Smash sounds a wee bit strange...Frog Squash is a good basis for a summoning tech, and what we have now isn't bad at all--it reminds me of Frog Flare--but you could do a really kick ass summon with it too, like Grand Dream.

And I was reading Justin's commentary on the techs, and I pretty much agree with everything he's said: some of these Protect/Barrier techs are ridiculously good and have the potential to make an almost unbeatable party, and a lot of her double and triple techs are a little repetitive: she has so many curing and protecting techs, and I don't really know how you'd fix that. But other than that, everything's looking good--the script is looking fantastic, I'm gonna do a quick read-through of the original CT script (we don't have a CTDS script yet, right?) and see if we can get Magus's lines even closer to the original script.

Divine Frog?
