I scanned for 82 00 around it, and none of them were it.  It just color crashed the map.

Many thanks man. I meant to comment on your screenshots in that post--they're ridiculously beautiful! I mean, if you hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have known they weren't already in CT. And her injured sprite...simply amazing.

Got it working but then there's another bug, apparently Lavos in the Time Freeze won't do anything to Crono-_-...I went through 2 roms in temporal flux and there's no difference at all except adding animations for "Schala"..  If you go up to Lavos to touch and/or press anything, he does nothing except sit there. X_X...

Edit: Fixed.  I don't know how the hell it happened, but the X coordinates were saved into the same position as the Y coordinates...Also, some variables were | instead of &.  Weird, oh well.  It's working fine now.

Edit: Almost done with the Ocean Palace scene.  I just have to add a bunch of "IF PC # is in Slot 2 or 3, then do this" commands ~_~...

Edit 2: I need help a little bit more with dialogue.  I'm adding a little pre-string when they react each differently.

Edit 4: GOD DAMNIT!  IT OVERWROTE SOMETHING IN THE VWF TECH AREA >_<...!  I DON'T GET HOW IT DID IT WHEN EVERYTHING WAS WORKING AND POINTED AT THE END OF THE ROM! GRRR..

Edit 3: Um...slight problem here.  There's too many palettes on the scene.  So the fallen rocks turn blue..

Edit 4: I can't do the sparkles on the pendant due to above.  Plus, if I did want to do that...I'd have to do like 16 different command movements because the pendant is held by the person in slot 2...which they change their position depending on who it is.

The event is done and is ready.  The video is in the midst of being converted into a .avi and will probably be compressed further into an MPG but retain the same if not better quality.  I suspect the video to be up within the hour.

I might go back and re-do the event a bit more though, maybe add more rocks or something.  But I can't make the pendant appear with the rocks, it'll kill itself completely.  The best bet would be to have stars form around whoever is in slot 2 and have them circle around them into Schala's pendant.  There's not much else we can do.

Also, take notice that "MAGUS" is still Schala.  That's because I have yet to change "SCHALA:" into "MAGUS:" quite yet.  I'm afraid that it might completely throw off dialogue in the rom and kill everything.

Double post.  It's taking longer then expected to get the video.  It's over the limit, so I either have to find a way to lower the time to 10 minutes instead of 11 (-_-) or split it into 2 parts.  Plus, the file size is like 200 megs.

Edit: Looks like I had to resort to WMM...I really REALLY didn't want to as it destroys the quality, but Vegas shot up the file size to no other.

VirtualDubMPEG might help you with splitting the file into two parts. That's what I used for the Dream Devourer CT:DS battles where I ate up oodles of time healing.

Going to make a back-up of the rom and change "SCHALA:" to "MAGUS:" to see what happens.  Hopefully it doesn't kill anything.

Edit: Yea uh...If I really want a safe bet on everything, I'm going to have to move techs and items OUTSIDE of 3FFFFF range.  Why I didn't do that before?  Probably because I'm an idiot -_-

Wow, amazing job, Justin! I am in awe! O_O Love it. The new sprites are cool, though her frontal "on her knees" sprite looks a bit strange... She looks like a really small person standing up, instead of herself fallen on her knees... o_O Really cool, though. Can't wait to see more! :D

Oh, and those lines look fine, mav. I would like to see the new translation added for the DS -> SNES hack, though. It's a pretty big thing and fixes up a lot of things that the Retranslation got. Just my opinion, though.
