Toads =/= Frogs. I don't know where you got that from.

Divine Frog Smite, maybe...? (It fits, exactly seventeen characters)

And hey, Cure Wind and Cure Wave are practically the same thing. It's okay to have a little repetition sometimes. But yes, all three positive statuses on the whole party is just too much... Like I said, got rid of Temporal Guardian, and changed Sacred Protection to only give Barrier and Protect.

(Also, I'm not sure if you noticed, but I added some text for her when she sees Zeal in the Black Dream. It's after the main script block, in the "assorted" text down at the bottom)

It's a synonym, I'm not expecting you to use every suggestion--but words can jog ideas. Frog Smash doesn't sound too good, but Toad Smash has a better sound to it, accuracy aside. Do we even need the word Frog in it? The tech-name doesn't necessarily have to mention the Frog, the description can.

You guys don't like the idea of it summoning a different creature, as opposed to a giant frog? Grand Dream uses Masamune, so why can't we have a new summoned creature?
Dream Star... I don't know... Dreamer's Star has a better...ring to it, you know?
Eh, I think Dream Star sounds a lot better. I like the name Lodestar, but that's really got a whole 'nother meaning to it. Honestly, some techs need new names...but it seems like you're pretty stuck on what you've chosen, so whatever.

We should take this slowly.  Let's re-work single techs first, then once we have what we think will work, move onto to double techs.  I think we're moving a bit to fast here.

Good idea. What do you guys think of her tech growth going Restore -> Heal -> Seal -> Starfall -> Comet -> Guardian -> Arise -> Holy?

So where do the "Level 2" techs start? On Comet or...what?

Restore to Starfall are "level 1" techs, I suppose... Since Comet is officially a "level 2" spell, that and Guardian can be considered "level 2s"... And then Arise and Holy for "level 3s".

Or is that not what you meant at all? o.O

No, no, that's exactly what I was asking. I figured Guardian was where level 3 would start, but you're the boss.

Can we also use this name to finalize tech names, or should we hold off on that?

What do you mean by "finalizing"? o.O I think they sound good... But others may have objections.

Hah, thankfully we're not in a pseudo-court of law.

Finalize, as in come up with the names of techs that will basically go into the hack. Like whether we're choosing Holy Smite or Holy Cross (I'm partial to the latter) and what'll replace Holy Frog Smash, if anything. Or if anyone has any leftover name objections--Heavenly Peal, for instance, was up for debate, thankfully it's grown on me, but I'm sure there are others too (Light-speed Fist hasn't grown on me, sadly). And since Justin left commentary on the techs, I thought now would be the time to look into those as well.

Sorry if I sound like I'm trying to make last minute changes or interrupt the flow of things, that's definitely not my intention.

Definitely not interrupting anything.  Hell, I haven't even worked on this hack much yet because of other parts of hacks going on.  I want to throw this into the DS version hack, but maybe I should separate this into it's own little thing first.  Once we have some of this finalized, I'll get to hacking them in.

Your call man, but the chances are that we'll need to work out more than a handful of bugs and kinks here and there.

Since vacation starts tomorrow...technically today for me because I had no choice but to call myself in, I'll get to work on this.  I'm okay with event editing, I can get some of the complicated stuff, but I don't know how to work with memory values very well.
