Yeah, as much as I'd like to see the DS translation, but it'd just muck up the current project--too much work, right? I thought everything in the video looked proper...the sprites, the graphics, the emotions...but whatever, once we see the sprites, we'll know for sure.

Which "frontal" sprites.  Kind of confuses me.  Do you mean the one where she's facing towards Queen Zeal?  If so, it's not really small.  The view of it looks small but it's actually the same size as the others.

Edit: Might be the width though.  I'll work on that.

Oh, and should I repost the script/tech list so we can go over it one last time? I believe they've gotten buried again... :(

(And if they're going to add things like the new areas and stuff, I really think they should add the new translation... It's not such a big deal to Compendiumites, since pretty much everyone here has played the Retranslation, (I actually found myself saying, "It's Heated Glance, not 'The Look', you fool!" when I was fighting Flea... o_O) but to a lot of people, it's a pretty major thing... Seeing the original SNES script when I've read the infinitely better Retranslation/DS translation just makes me feel embarrassed, kind of. It's just so...ugh. But this is not the place to suggest stuff for CT: Ultimate Edition, I suppose...)

@ Justin: Gah, I meant facing away from the camera. It doesn't look like she's hunched over to me, but eh, I suppose that one's a bit hard to do... I'll be fine with it either way. :)

Anywho, The only new areas are probably going to be the Dream Devourer bit and the spots to get Schala along with her side-quest.  I don't think anything else.

Edit: I'm going to start working on moving the Item/Tech Data again -__-...I don't see them being completely done and re-organized until 9 or 10 my time.  It's about 7 right now.  But it'll be good to do that because then we don't have to worry about the damned game overwriting the data :D

How did you record the video? When I've tried to do that in the past it hasn't worked right.

There's a little thing somewhere that allows ZSNES to dump .zm# files to AVI.

Oh, I know you won't be adding DS content for the Schala hack alone, but I mean for CT: Ultimate Edition.

And I know her frontal one where she faces the camera is from her NPC sprites. I mean the one opposite of that, where she's facing away from the camera. The one she has when Crono's about to be disintegrated is the only example I can think of.

Scroll up, I think that looks okay.  I might make it a couple pixels higher though.

Edit: Changed every tidbit of dialogue that had "{Magus}" to MAGUS: and Schala to "{Magus}".  Very thankful I moved the menu stuff, it took up every little bit of it except bout 600 bytes.  Seems everything's working fine, but I'll have to check that tomorrow in another speed run.

Good to hear.

So do you need any new sprites? I was rereading the script and I saw that there was going to be a Giga Gaia palette swap in there. If we're still doing that, I can do the recolor, if you want me to, all I need to know is what color scheme and how it should be set up so you can easily insert it.

Palette Swaps are easy.  I really don't know what color or anything it should be.  I've never been good at monster design.

Melchior in ALGETTY ELDER'S HOUSE, MILLENIAL FAIR, MEDINA RESIDENCE are bugged
Change Melchior in Moonlight Parade
Change Schala's Pose in the Ocean Palace Time Freeze when Janus gets sucked in
Change SCHALA!! to {Magus}!! in Ocean Palace Time Freeze when Janus gets sucked in
Talking to Elder in Ioka Hut freezes game (Present in all my CT roms =/) - Massive Delay on the text

Belthasar and Janus's palettes are bad.  ??? Not sure how to solve this... Janus's palette doesn't load since Schala is a PC
Change Magus's pose when you defeat the Mammon Machine
All chests have            ! at the end
Edit the text for "BlackRock" and "GoldRock" to "Black Gemstone" and "Gold Gemstone"

I might rename all the locations to their proper DS names.  Last time I did that, it destroyed the VWF, but it should be fine now.  Then again, the entire area where the VWF was held is COMPLETELY filled up now thanks to dialogue changes.  Then there's the matter of tech descriptions.
