Lost Sanctum and that Black Nu(spoilers maybe)

I don't really count the Arena as canon I don't think...There's really no reference to it at all throughout the game...When & why do you even gain access to it? I forget...And you can get to it before you can even actually travel to it! O_o

It doesn't really matter whether it's canon or not, as it doesn't contribute to the plot at all. The reason it's not mentioned in the game is because nobody would know about it. It's beyond even the end of time so the only person that could even reference it is Gaspar, and he usually doesn't mention specifics.

Uh, well, it sort of matters if one is going to put forth the hypothesis that the Smidges are some kind of pre-evolved basis for the Nu or something...

True, but I don't really believe that theory, though I could be wrong. Just curious, do any of the smidges class change into a nu?

When does the Lost Sanctum's sidequests end? I just got the Champion's Badge and still have to give the rusty blade to that blacksmith in 65000000BC.

The champion's badge is the last part of the lost sanctum. The rusty blade isn't really considered part of the quest.

The most impressive part of LS is, you have to climb the 2 moutains for countless times.

It becomes unlocked upon saving for the first time.

When does the Lost Sanctum's sidequests end?

The plot related aspects of it end when you discover your statues in the shrine at the mountain summit in 600AD.

The Lost Sanctum pretty much stinks... It's not much fun and there's not enough real content.  It's moreso just "fetch" quests.  I mean, some of the rewards are great, but the design - even the level design - is just sort of... subpar.

Hmmm...when you can first save the game, huh...That guy in the Mayor of Truce's manor tells you that save points are places where the planet's memory gathers or something, doesn't he? I wonder if maybe the Arena could be connected to Chronopolis...it seems like they might have had access and...did they populate El Nido with the monsters there, maybe?

I wonder if the Lost Sanctum could be their way of saying that Crono & Co. were actually responsible for the Reptite dimension continuing to exist...

Undoubtedly. With the ghost children, Time Devourer and Fall of Guardia connections being made, I can't see it being anything other than a Dinopolis reference. Well, y'never know... maybe Kato will give us some insight into that in the inevitable Cross port.

Correct me if I'm wrong (haven't played Chrono Cross in a while), but wasn't the dragonian dimension a parallel to the Chrono one? If LS was the dinopolis dimension, I'd think that the reptites would be evolved into dragonians by 600 A.D.

Why? Do we know that much about the evolution that occurred in the Reptite Dimension...? I don't recall being given very much at all, myself...>_>

I was just saying that if it was a parallel dimension, then their evolution would be similar, but I guess they are a different race and we don't know how they progress. I would think that Dinopolis would be bigger than LS considering the size of Terra Tower, but I suppose that LS could be only part of that dimension.
