I'm guessing at some point in the update I got my backups mixed up and threw in one from the week before.

Anyway, I had to wipe any edits from yesterday and today to restore the most recent changes, but it should be safe to edit things again.

Interesting layout.  Anyway we could have a darker or gray background like the other scheme?  If not, oh well.  This is a pretty nice looking layout.

White backgrounds can be quite harsh under a lot of different lighting conditions on computer screens, but I went with a consistent white background to make the next step even easier.

I happen to be in a well lit area right now...the white background would burn out my retinas if I was in a dimly lit room...but it has a "clean" feel to it...

What is the next step Ramsus?

I hope that whatever the next step is, it puts something over the white background (like a watermark, or... anything).  Yikes, it's like looking at a sheet of paper; I see enough of that at work.  However, I do really like the header graphic, and having such a diverse set of links at my fingertips on the sidebar.

Hmm... I like the placement of navigation menu, and the placement of images in the skin is well thought out, but I would have to agree on the harshness of white ─ my eyes are getting seared out. (and the room that I'm in is well lit)

After browsing the site, I'm starting to get the burn in too. Apparently monitors aren't just bigger these days -- they're also a lot brighter.

I'll adjust the background color, but that's not part of the next step.

The plain white background is staying -- I'd be spending all year choosing something else otherwise. The exception might be the forums, where it doesn't fit the current style.
