I'm not sure this portrait is actually used anywhere in the game. There's an NPC in Another Termina that can draw portraits of your party members (it just shows their mugshot pictures in a textbox), and if I recall correctly even this event shows you the regular Lynx picture for Serge-as-Lynx rather than the one in this thread.

Besides, the young Kid portrait is never used, not sure why, maybe they want to make the dialogue more clear, for the starry night sky background...

Which is why I said it was "supposed" to be a younger Lynx... But Ramsus' position on it being Serge ex Lynx seems more likely.

Yeah, I looked thoroughly for a screenshot, but I couldn't find it--but after taking a look at this ending (go to 2:44), you'll see Serge using Lynx's regular portrait.

I'll look around, but maybe the portrait in question wasn't ever used...

I just finished a new playthrough and didn't see it used anywhere. I'll do some more investigation on my New Game+ playthrough, but I'm pretty sure at this point that it's just unused.
