Sorry for the blatant double post but when my phone is nice enough to let me email images I gotta take advantage! We got our 3 new baby chicks today! They were only 27 hours old!!!! And they were shipped SO nicely, I couldn't of asked for it to have gone smoother. So I figured I'd share the love! But only because I love y'all so much!
Here's the three of them, but one is hiding their cute face...
There it is! Meet Sweet Beatrice Russel! A defenite female Buff Orpington, the breed that Buck Sagebrush is believed to be.
You might of noticed one of the other 2 crazies in the background in that last shot, that was Lady Ewok. Here she is taking a naparooski. She's an Easter Egger with green legs, and will lay colored eggs. Sweeeet!
And finally this is H.W. Bawkbagawk. She's a Silky Bantam, and is TINY! Like half the size of those other tiny tiny babies. What a cutie.
Buck and Special Agent Fitzhugh are currently separated by a clear barrier so they can see the new buggers but can't hurt 'em. They're still just babies themselves, but this has made me realize how absolutely enormus they've become! I won't post pics of them for a few weeks, as they're entering that fugly inbetween down and real feathers stage. But they'll be absolutely beautiful when they're done feathering! Let's keep our fingers crossed that Buck isn't a rooster!
