One scene I just DONT get...

Crono is the BEST silent protagonist out there. Give him props becuase besides Mario RPG's main italian, Crono has some sweet character development. This dream is just another little taste that you gotta read in to. And ya, Marle is a babe. I named her Carli after my girlfriend who looks strikingly familiar...

Crono hardly has any character development. It's just his journey, he has no back story. Magus, Marle, Lucca, Robo, Frog and Ayla do. Crono is the only person missing out. Hence, he sux.

As for Serge, he's lightyears ahead of Crono in character development. He may be silent, but those FMV's of him thinking of Kid when she's dead, and the emotion he showed as Lynx when she was stabbed showed it all.
And man, I was soo sad for Harle when she was crying.

Durka?

Besides Magus and Frog no one has any real significant back story. We learn of small tidbits, but nothing of major pertinance to how thier personality formed and what not.

Marle and her family dillema's and pre-history with her parents causing her to bear a deviance from her father and go out of her way to disobey him.

Lucca and her angst over her inability to save her mother, which drove her interest in machines so she won't let it happen again.

Robo, his history with Mother Brain and Atropos, and how he intended as a spy, decided to be his own person.

You can quite presume she and Azala had some history behind them from Azala's last moments...

Crono was the simple man with the big heart.  He wanted to save the world and then live a simple life.  Think about it... Marle is a princess... so why not put him inside of the castle as a prince... he doesn't want that.  He is kind hearted and a common man.
Sure he does not have nearly as much depth as characters like Magus and Frog (both of who I view as better characters...) but he is a good man.  He could have just not gone after Marle, and not risk going through a time portal.  How many people would actually go into something that looked like a gateway to nothingness?

Lucca's KIND OF gained my respect, though I don't like the way she's arted, either. Everyone besides these 3 are okay... Though I can't say I really care for Ayla.

How can you diss Toriyama so bad? What's your beef? Toriyama was a genius of his time, and inspired a whole lot of other artists/mangakas. He's due some credit, which I don't think he gets much of around here.

Seriously, he draws less realisticly than most Anime and Manga and he lacks creativity and he lets his hormones drive him too much. All those traits point to one thing: He's a bad artist.

People can get satisfied by anything involving violence. That's what the DB series is about: senseless, useless killing and too much Deus Ex Machina usage.

DB/DBZ/DBGT is shojo or whatever means boy cartoons. It has fighting for that reason, but so does Sailor Moon, but it's an anime for girls Oo. Anyway Toriyama draws his characters all like pretty much. It's weird. And the girls are always nearly anerexic and the guys always beefed up Oo Now you wonder why it has so much hentai >.> lol

And umm yeah...

Harle owns CC with best character development.

Schala owns CT as best NPC and even though she is an NPC, she still pwns the rest.
