The Dreamreaper is in the 1,000 AD Vortex, in the screen that resembles Emerald Mountain Summit, the entrance is by the southeast corner of the main lava room, the one with the door you cross to get to the end.

The Dreamweaver is gotten after beating the Dream Devourer.

Crono's Katana is the DreamSEEKER, not DreamWEAVER. And yes, It's gotten after the 13th ending is obtained. If you're having trouble with the Dream Devourer, I suggest you spam Dark Matter, Luminaire and Flare. That's what I did, if I recall correctly. I think I was overpowered though. I never ran from a fight the whole game, so that got me to level 64 average for all charecters. You could always do New Game+ and wait until you get the Epoch with wings, then do the Dimensional Vortex again.

Have your characters at at least level 60, have them all equipped with status protection equipment, have Haste Helms on all three party members if possible. If not, have Marle Haste herself on the first turn and work from there. I found using Crono, Marle and Ayla was good because Crono can smash away with Luminaire and Frenzy while Ayla attacks normally (and Dino Tail for huge damage when she's on low HP) and Marle provides healing every 2 rounds or so while keeping Haste on the party. Crono and Ayla's Falcon Hit is a big help, too.

The only real huge annoyance is that the DD counters with MP Buster to everything for most of the fight. Have some Elixirs ready and don't be afraid to use up a few Megalixirs either.

That's what I did. Luminaire, Dark Matter, and Critical Hits with Apocalypse Arm. Healing Beam when needed.

Heh heh heh heh... Sweet! Now to beat the other DVs so I can challenge the DD. (Cleared the Antiquity DV between the Ocean Palace and the Blackbird.)

Does he? That's interesting...although it could be a palette limitation or oversight too.

I remember he used a red one in DBT, but when I watched a video on youtube, it was not like that.
