The first is the first battle against Magus and the second is the Dream Devourer fight, mainly because it was very difficult until I got status immune armor for everyone. Logged Shadow D. The only Lavos fight you have to lose. Crono's death took me by surprise. I've won this fight a few times, it just takes more cautiousness. You get the developers ending. Logged Shadow D. The reason you have to lose is to advance the story. I've won as well, and even went all the way and got The Dream Project ending. How I try to lose is to not heal my party after the Golem Sisters battle. So fond of it that I usually save, do it, and reload to recruit Magus. Logged Shadow D. Darkman Zurvan Surfer (+2500) Posts: 2630 "Chrono Cross" is good, and spoilers never hurt... Mainly because, well, lets be honest here, who would possibly suspect the tiny little helper acorn of to the side to be the final boss. Blew my mind. Logged Shadow D. You'd think the Center Bit was Lavos Core, but it wasn't. It is most dangerous of the three, with True Lavos Core being the most annoying, and the Left Bit being second-most annoying. Re: Most Memorable Boss Fight « Reply #9 on: January 09, 2009, 09:05:00 am » Lavos Core does know a healing Tech. I think it was the Left Bit that had it. Probably the only reason you didn't see it is b/c you didn't leave it alive long enough to heal the Center Bit. I always dispose if it with a quick Frenzy as soon as I can. While it's around, Lavos' defense stays up, and it can disable your status immunity (allowing the center bit to have a good bit of random fun with you). Center's attacks are easily healed and have never come close to exceeding my parties HP, and it doesn't take that long to rack up the damage on the true core. « Last Edit: January 09, 2009, 11:44:52 pm by Onikage725 » Logged FouCapitan Black Wind Agent (+600) Posts: 626 Whatever it is, I'm against it. Re: Most Memorable Boss Fight « Reply #12 on: January 10, 2009, 12:34:29 am » I'd have to say the series of fights between Queen Zeal, Mammon Machine, and Zeal transformed. Doubly so with Magus in the party.Close runners up would be Magus (fight 1), Magus vs. Frog (fight 2), and Lavos (all three forms).
