Maybe use some other character as a base?

I used Ayami Kojima's art for Richter Belmont as a base for my character. The only think he lacked was glasses, since his hair and outfit were no concern of mine and the eyes were close enough to blue, alongside the hair being brown.

His fur 'collar' around his neck. It's better visible on a side sprite; yes, I am making a set. LoL.
