Anyone else watching 24
« on: January 13, 2009, 12:30:43 am »
I'm half an hour into the first episode today and i'm on the edge of my seat.  What an amazing turnaround (so far) from last season.  If they can keep it up Jack really is back!

I tried to watch 24 when it first came out, but the multi-angle gimmick turned me off immediately.

I missed the first few eps. I have heard really good things though but last season I thought was no good, to much about Jack's family.

It's kind of corny but I think it fits pretty well with the "real time" theme.  They also tone it down after awhile it's pretty much only used for transitions.  You should try watching season 2 (definitely my favorite season) if you dont like that one you probably wont like the show.

By the way I HATE the next time on 24 preview thing  I really need to start getting the self control to turn the channel when I see the credits.

EDIT: KebreI, this season definitely seems to be heading in the right direction, time will tell but so far so good. You can catch up on Hulu I belive but you have to hurry cause i think they take them down after a certain amount of time

The only person on Earth who might be more badass than Jack Bauer is Chuck Norris.

God I love hulu!  What do you guys think about this season.  There's been complaints about it not being every second action action action but I think it's a nice change of pace.  It's really weird that everything seems to be going to plan, like Jack caught the bad guy, the mole in the FBI got caught relatively easily etc.  It's really throwing me off ( every week i tell my co workers that Tony is going to betray Jack).

I also love how like...heartless Jack has become.  It's awesome that we got to see this character slowly erode away over the seasons (he's like totally different from season 1). Anyways I don't watch previews but I know there's 2 hours of 24 tonight so something's gotta be up :)

My guess is the first hour will be trying to find the guy who knows about the incoming attack and the second hour will be that battle we saw taking place in the White House during the previews last week.

I fucking can't wait.

please don't die pierce
