About the Shadow in Luccia's Lab(Conclusion, Maybe?)

I checked the gpu log, there are 5 shadows in that room(a shadow is a 4 point polygon with texture).
At first I assumed it was Grobyc who stood out of the screen.
But when I put Grobyc in team, the shadow is still there, and this time, there were also 5 shadows.

So, with Grobyc in team, there are 4 characters in that room and 5 shadows; without Grobyc in team, there are 5 characters in that room and 5 shaodws, but the extra shadow can still be seen.

It seems the shadow is generated by Lucca's letter.
Because Luccia only gives it once, so it only appears once.

4 shadows, 3 belong to the party, another belonging to Luccia, and the strange 5th we always assumed to be Janus.

But can we find out who the extra person is that shows up if Grobyc is absent? See whose code is there when it shouldn't be there?

Yeah, the problem is when Grobyc is not in your party, there are still 5 shadows.

I figured it out, that's probably because Grobyc is out of screen...that doesn't explain anything.

Hmm, still no clue how that shadow appears since I know nothing about room script.
But the shadow doesn't appear suddenly when you talk to Luccia, it is completely transparency at first, and will become darker and darker.

There should also be a shadow for Pip (could there be a different one for each evolution?...probably not), right?

But at that point doesn't Pip is in the S.S. Invincible? Unless you don't free him back when you have the chance, or does he escapes anyway?

Well, I figured if Grobyc's shadow doesn't disappear when he's in your party, then maybe Pip's shadow would remain in the room even if Pip isn't in the room as well...?

Oh yeah, and doesn't Luccia have a special Neo-N-Bulb with her when you first find her in there...?

Does it uses a shadow? Because with that in there there would be six in the room.

Could it be that when Grobyc is out of the party, his shadow just changes it's location for the scene? It's the only way I can see how there would still be five shadows with him out of the party.

Are we sure whether or not any of the shadows are layered on top of one another?

Doesn't the five shadows is only applied to the scene? Could it be that any other time is a different quantity.

Yeah, the extra shadow appears only in that scene(Lucca's letter).
There are only 5 shadows because Grobyc is out of the screen when Kid's talking to Luccia, so his shadow is clipped.
After the party leave the room when Kid says "I'd like to be alone fora while", there are actually 2 shadows(Kid's and the extra one) in that room.

The extra shadow is completely transparancy at first when you talk to Luccia, after that it will become darker and darker until half-transparancy. That is unlike a normal glitch, if someone's shadow is moved there, how does that gradual change happen?

I have always seen the shadow appear as soon as Kid starts to read the letter. How can that be a glitch?

Actually, the shadow appears as soon as you press confirm button before Luccia.
Although, the dialogue may hide it sometimes.

So, anyway, what was the point of finding the quantity of shadows? To know if the shadow is really supposed to appear?

I think it was intentional, considering that the scene is the only one that triggers the shadow to appear.
