Wow. Those are impressive! I love the haughty look Kid has. Magil is nice, but I think I'd enjoy the art more if it wasn't covered in filters. Maybe even black and white.

Saw that Magil one on dA a while ago, I really liked the colors and effects. It's very eyecatching.

@utunnels: No, Magil does not use a scythe in the actual game.  This is just a character design. I'm hoping someone could help me with sprites/KoF models. Otherwise, I'll have to do it entirely on my own (and I'm a beginner).

@teaflower: Actually, that Magil's art was done long before I decided it as a concept art for Radical Dreamers FZ. I was just feeling lazy to redraw a complicated drawing like that. xP

@FaustWolf: HELL YEAH!! 8D I hope by the time those are done there would still be enough Chrono fans left!

Kid's sheathes look a little odd like that, but w/e, everyone's got personal preferences for how their weapons sit I guess. *shrugs*

Magil's white gloves kind of throw it for me. Everything else is great, probably would have liked to see one of Magus' actual scythes, but that one looks cool too.

Yeah, perhaps it is hard for me to get used to this Serge.
This Kid looks like Flea, doesn't she(I know Flea is a guy, but...)?
This Magil is perfect to me though, except that Scythe.

 Saying this, Magil walks forward and grips two of the cell's iron bars.
 Straining with both hands, after a few moments, the bars bend apart like taffy!

The JPN script even describes his bulged muscle(even if not, the bended bars explain everything).
So you can imagine he's as muscular as Magus in CT.

XD Thanks! Though I think I'll redo both the artworks, and this time I'll take some time at the afternoons to do them properly. Kinda not satisfied the current results...

@utunnels: You're right actually, Magil is just as muscular.  Fear his fist! LOL!

Alright, no one else has asked (so maybe I'm missing something), but what does "FZ" mean...?

On a side-note, why isn't the Magil one a direct link like the other two?

  LOL I thought it'd be familiar to everyone, but guess not. But anywhos "Radical Dreamers FZ" is just a prototype name for my RD sidescroller project series (prequel to the original RD, more than one game, and many playable characters, storylines and timelines). The FZ actually stands for "Forever Zero".  Though, only the final chapters of the RD battle series will be named Radical Dreamers: Forever Zero, where our heroes... er.. villains... um.. PROTAGONISTS finally face off against their ultimate nemesis Lynx once again in a fated battle! (That's a sequel to the original RD)

I have no problems with artwork and the gameplay itself. All I'm worried about is whether I can get good sprites for the characters. XD I just wanted to make this game before my old Chrono: Cross-Trigger Battle.

Edit: Whoops! I forgot to answer your second question.  That Magil portrait was made WAYYYYYYYY long ago! And currently it's also being used for a top-secret project. xD Though, I placed this here for a Magil design because I was lazy to redraw another one. Though I'll draw fresh new and better ones soon! ^-^

Awww, man, no again! @_@ Stressful day, hardly any time, and all my inspiration goes up in smokes! This always happens...
 Anywhos, didn't have enough time. So another mindless quick sketch instead of "slow and steady" sketch. But somehow, I like this one better.

Thanks! Guess I'll edit the sketch and add the ears in Photoshop.  I'll be drawing Serge and Magil next. But hopefully someone would come around and help me with the sprites/models...
