I think tribute videos are a good step in Chrono fandom. I'm sure custom animated sequences aren't around the corner, but your vid was still a good step. More people need to make Chrono videos--whether they're tributes, like yours, or just vlogs or something.

Finally got around to watching this. Superb work! I know just how much effort went into that, and most of the effects you used I wouldn't be able to produce with my current freebie software. What programs did you use exactly?

The tribute strongly reminded me of the animated storyboard for Lord of the Rings, which is included in the Fellowship of the Ring extended edition DVD I think. As for it not being "well received," remember that art derives its greatest worth from the very fact that your mind has given birth to something that did not exist before.

It totally would have been awesome if Rick Astley started singing when Robo's theme played, but that may be just my personal preference.

Thanks for the feedback and encouragement, mav and FaustWolf! Whether you liked it or not, all comments are appreciated.

I made this project with iMovie 6. (Mac-only) A simple, yet effective program that gets the job done. It was hard to go back and make changes once the scenes were in place.  None if it was planned ahead of time. I just worked with what I had as I went along. I know I could've done a lot better given more time.

LOL @ the Rick Astley/Robo suggestion. That would've been golden!

Did someone give you a deadline or something...?

No, didn't mean to word it that way. I meant if I put more time into it then it would be even better.

All of it was awesome except for the voices they added.  They just didn't really belong.  Also I'd recognized that song it played during the Magus part anywhere.  It's like my favorite OC Remix of his song, Atonement.
