I just got a copy of Chrono Cross and already fucked up somewhere. I'm in the Viper Manor and I'm poisoned. I didn't buy anything to heal poison so I'm SOL. Is there anywhere to heal your party in the Viper Manor?

You could always rip the game CD to your hard drive if your computer is fast enough to handle a PlayStation emulator, and use a cheat program to put an anti-poison item in your inventory.

I'm using epsxe to play it. Damn, I didn't want to have to resort to cheats.

Oh, you're already emulating. Well, we might just be able to hack into your savestate to change your inventory, but that would be considered cheating as well by some.

Haha, the simple solution to it was to fight some shite easy monsters and kill off Serge, Kid, and Nikki one by one. Muahahaha I don't have to cheat.

Couldn't you just live with the poison status until you did get some Antidotes? I don't remember it being a status effect that really mattered much since you can easily auto-heal after all battles...Just make sure you have some healing Elements (maybe early on your grid)...but w/e, it seems like you're already done with it...

There were no antidotes in Viper Manor. That was the problem.

Yeah, but that's what I mean...It's not a huge area and not many battles, so why not wait to cure your poisoning until you get out of Viper Manor...? Plus, if something can poison you, I'm pretty sure there's a fair chance that they drop Antidotes or something, right? *shrugs* I could be wrong on that one, I guess though...

Well I tried to ride it through but got my ass kicked by Marcy so that wasn't a good idea. This game is so fucked up. I have to play as Lynx and it's bothering the hell outta me.

i'd have to agree with laith. not a fan of lynx. the whole time i was hoping serge would end up being crono's half brother or something, but that's not the way it panned out.  :?
