Chrono Killer (Chrono Trigger Beat em up) Is Now Complete

Hey guys. I've been working on a Chrono Trigger beat em up using the beats of rage engine. I'm almost done. Check out the screens

That looks good, for a game hack, but link looks like a mix of the old link from the lttp, and chrono.

You are right. I used Crono's body and added Link's head from lttp. I needed a sword that fit the picture so I used one from ffV. I think it came out alright.

How...Bizzare...Can anyone tell me why Samurai Jack, Link, Johnny "The Man", and what looks like Goku or Gohon are playable characters in a Chrono beat em up? Johnny barely makes any sense...The DBZ character is at least the same style artistically...and I guess I could see Link simply because he's a popular (not by me though...the fairy fuck! ) video game character...But Samurai Jack??? What's the connection?!?!? I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!! Is it the sword-wielding time traveler thing? Is that it??!?!? Or was it completely random?

HAHAHA. Yeah I know it doesn't make sense when you first hear about it but I used them because Samurai jack, Link and trunks travel through time. I'm not gonna give away the whole deal your just gonna have to play the game and see.
Johnny is not playable he is just there in the corner taking up space.

I have to agree with Translanka - the story seems so far-fetched (even though we haven't heard it, the screenshots speak for themselves) that I myself would have trouble playing it.  The beat-em-up aspect is cool, but the fact that Link, Samurai Jack, and Trunks (Translanka, you DB-n00b) are involved seems completely..  retarded, for lack of a better word.

Nonetheless, let me know when you release a demo or the full game.

I wouldn't mind a beat-em up that wasn't "correct" in it's characters... It's not like it's canon anyways. Looks cool so far.

Retarded? Kind of a harsh word especially if you don't know the whole story but I do see your point. Alot of you guys here just want the original characters and nothing more. But I put them in the game because I thought it would be cool. Link and Crono look cool on the same screen together. But thats my opinion. Sorry to offend you hardcore chrono fans    Anyways the game is almost finished and all the heroes are playable. All I have left to do if the cutscenes (so you guys know why the hell those retarded characters are here) and the finishing touches on the enemies. I'm off vacation so Hopefully it will be done by next weekend.

Having the Robot that protected X's upgraded armor in MMX as an enemy is the most confusing of all.
