I think that one reached SE's ears via YouTube advertisements for it.

The CE team has done the same, but Chrono Ressurection had considerably more hits and some viewers probably E-Mailed someone at SE's site.

Well, CE can have a similar fate, though it would be best that it doesn't.

He didn't post anything yet.  Not to mention that this is the largest Chrono site out there and that someone from Square has seen this site or someone has at least told them.  So stop worrying.

The guys at Chrono Resurrection were getting hits on their website from Square, so it's not too farfetched to say they know quite a bit on what's going on at the Compendium. Now, chances are that they heard the buzz over CR and then checked out the site, forwarded it to fellow employees, and managed to get it shut down.

I still don't see all the hubbub is over the C&Ds...Square only did that for two projects that were REMAKES with (vastly) ENHANCED GRAPHICS...Nothing about any other of the many fan mods of their games have gotten C&D'd as far as I know (& I still believe that the main reason for those C&Ds was because there were rumors about one or both somehow charging money for them...just the rumor along with the blabbing did them in...not to mention basically one-upping Square)...But like I said, I'm not going to allow any talk of CE on the board before it's actually released anyways, so let's dry those eyes, shall we?

Just treat it like a quasi-official Chrono fansite if you're that worried. I want to be able to release all of the regular Compendium news (fan art, fanfics, w/e) over there, really...Maybe I'll mention Prophet's Guile & the Coliseum SINCE THOSE ARE FINISHED...*sigh*

Well, do they have a site? Do they have an epicly awesome ROM hack coming out in May? Simply because they have more members doesn't mean they're better.

Betcha five bucks their group consists of 10 year olds who got CTDS for their birthday when they wanted Mario...

I think that it's because most people that join the Members site over there just search for a Chrono group & join whichever one has the most members...I try to keep the Compendium one on the Active list by changing the little leader announcement thing (I've just been rotating different in-game quotes though), but you can't control people not joining or discussing anything...V_V

It's just another outlet to share news with the Chrono community, really. I won't be posting stuff about ongoing fan game projects...I was mostly thinking about fanfics, art, remixes & the like...Or stuff like the current news update about Video Games Live...Stuff to let some of the more mainstream fans (I assume they're the only ones that would be on the SE Members site but not the Compendium) get enthusiastic about the series again.
