Regardless of the future outcome, looks like CT is doing well on today's poll (53.6%) My guess is when it rolls around to CT vs the powerhouse fanbase driven FFVII we'll see the usual results.
First it has to knock out Castlevania:SotN, Mario 64, and SMW2: Yoshi's Island though.
My biggest surprise was Goldeneye recieving so many votes still. I mean seriously? I know it was a good game and all but it hasn't stood the test of time that well.
My picks for the division final are FFVII, Goldeneye, Mario 64, and Chrono Trigger, regardless of which I actually think are best, that's what the votes are going to show.
Edit: I really hate how their brackets are set with transitional years dominating. We have some of the best games going up against each other from different generation consoles, late NES vs early SNES, and late SNES vs PS1 and N64 titles. Problem is a lot of gamefaqs users are young, having never played any games before '97, so they'll just wind up voting for the franchises they know now, like Mario, Sonic, etc. How else could FF2 (SNES) and Megaman 3 beat out River City Ransom and Crystalis?
