Stained glass Magus tribute

Hey Compendiumites! Been a while since I've dropped in to contribute... but this time I've got a real winner of a fanart to share with you!

However... there's a catch.

I'm not going to say right away who made this, nor whether this is actual stained glass or just a clever Photoshop job. I wanna hear what you, the unbiased viewers, think. At the end of two weeks I'll post and reveal all the relevant info regarding this and the truth will be known, but until then you'll just have to discuss amongst yourselves.

XDDD I must say that Magus looks "hellish"! I'm also currently making an AMV on... let's just say, the opposition to Magus.

Hmmm... It LOOKS like stained class painting to me, however it could also be photoshop'd. xD Guess I can't come to a conclusion unless I have clues confirming it.

I don't see why someone would photoshop it...If it was based on anything other than just the sprite I would say photoshop, but since it is, it looks like it wouldn't be that difficult to actually make a stained glass of...Though some of the edges around Magus itself seem quite a bit thicker than the rest of it...but who am I? Dave Chihuly? Whatever it turns out to be, it's pretty dang cool.

Oh, and btw, I'm not Dave Chihuly, though his glass art is EFFING AMAZING...and he's got an eyepatch! How cool is that? A pirate glass sculptor! And he's a Washingtonian to boot!

It could be real, but I want to say fake because of that cloudy part near his legs, and the black background. Could be both.

I have a friend who makes stained glass things. Maybe someday I'll borrow her soldering iron and make my own. Fake or not, that is a great design, and would look very beautiful hanging in my kitchen.

It's probably photoshop.  The image was made with Photoshop CS3 anyways, and has no camera data attached.

Did anyone notice that Schala is sitting in her Dream Devourer pose behind Magus, on the top left part of the glass? I didn't at first.

Oh shit, Lavos is right there in the top-right...th-that can't have been there originally, could it?? Damn, it says last edit was april 20th...wtf...How could I have not seen that!? I think I want to change my vote now...V_V

I remember making some stained glass stuff in high school art class... I think that there's some people on here who would definitely do something like that.
