Graphics Difficulty?

I just installed PG and watched the quote from Serge fade in then fade out, and I waited about half an hour while the screen was black and the music looped. Why can't I see the game!?

Which emulator are you using?

Also, I always recommend using the unheadered patch with an unheadered ROM, and hard patching. Let us know if you need help with any of that. I think BROJ actually made a guide somewhere...

I'm using ZSNES. I used that alternate patch method in the readme (Rename the patch to match the rom) and it loaded, it just went black and the music looped after Serge's quote. I'll try using Temporal Flux if you think that will help though.

Definitely load a ROM up in TF to remove the header, then use the unheadered patch. I've never been a fan of soft-patching personally. Making a backup is the only extra step you need to worry about with hard patches, and well worth the bit of extra effort. Be sure to use LIPS (Lunar IPS) to patch; it's at RomHacking.net.

OK, I've got everything I should need then. So how do I remove the header on TF?

TF will remove the header as soon as the ROM loads; if you save the ROM, then you've saved the header removal. Piece of pie. Easy as cake.
