Not sure if of you heard, but 3D Realms closed down...the news is a few days old, but I didn't hear about it until this morning.  Well, it looks like Duke Nukem Forever will never ever be released.

This doesn't really effect Duke Nukem Forever since ya know it was never gonna get released anyway.

Like I said here I'm just hoping that the rights to Duke will be handed off to a company that will actually do something good with him.  3D Realms has suffered from the "not good enough" bug for almost a decade now, scrapping ideas before they even try them.

Yes, and the Halo movie is almost into post-production.

World War II and the entire Manhattan Project. Yes, even the complete development of the atomic bomb took less time.

If you can show solid proof that it was being beta tested I'll believe you.

He saved his reciept so I'd assume so.  Then again I never tried getting a refund from Game Stop before, especially for preorder money down.

Store Credit, the real question is it adjusted for inflation and interest?

Price of new video games hasn't changed much in the last 30 years.  Value of dollar I believe is down from when that preorder was made though.  So in a roundabout way, if he gets his money back he may make a profit.

I think they should give him more for just keeping a the receipt that long.

They wanted to hire me for level designing last year, but I declined. Does that count?

No it doesn't.
