« on: June 14, 2009, 12:48:00 am »
For those of you who aren't sick of Ocean Palace (ocean Palace and Black Omen from CT, destroyed Ocean Palace in CE) we got one more chapter of OP goodness:

Video 54
Video 55

(I have some plans tonight so I'm releasing this batch early)

Let's play spot the plot hole.....if it's what I think it is then yea it's pretty obvious.

And Chrono'99 (and Vehek) have expressed distaste with the cop-out "solution"

So you guys added an extra area connected to the MM's room when originally there was none.

That's the plothole?

Timeline changes from past = new people in the future (Belthesar, Cedric, etc.).

Crono + co. screw with timeline in past -- how will Marle know that she's supposed to save Cedric if timeline gets altered?

(ehh just guessing here. TTI gets a bit funny when you keep messing with the past and changing with the future.)

EDIT-- oh wait, the back entrance IS the plot hole ?!? (I don't understand -- explaination plz?)

The only thing I've noticed, and perhaps I've just not paid that much attention to CT in general, would be that the Masamune isn't present embedded into the Mammon Machine. But seeing as how the 'spot the plothole' was annotated into the vid just before they went and I don't remember what happened to the Masamune at that particular point in the CT story, I could simply be rambling here.

If I remember correctly, Masamune was no longer there in the scene where Schala warps the two party members and Magus out of the Ocean Palace.

------------------
EDIT::
wait, what time period is this again? is this pre- Ocean Palace incident or post? If it was post, Masamune definitely should be there....

------------------
Zeal takes the Masamune, hits Magus, and goes away with it. Causes the whole "Masamune-less" timeline, right?

Frog still had his Masamune, and then it gets taken by Dalton later on during the Castle defense. But before that, Frog and others returned the Masamune (of the proper timeline) into the ocean depths (Old Masa&Mune talking to Masa&Mune).

But I'm still confused at the Dispatch Chambers mechanics...

It's during the Ocean Palace incident, where the Red Knife turned into the Masamune when it touched the Mammon Machine.

During the scene, it should still be there, unless it was taken out, but I'm not sure if it was still there after the encounter with Lavos.
