"Off the top of my head it's around 200,000 in the EU - pathetic numbers - and 600,000 in the US."
how much is CT:DS? 30 bucks? so they made 6 million from EU and 18 million in the US? That's pathetic? That's an eye opener...
It does not work like that. They have to pay for production of the cartridges, the retail for selling their product and they are left with a measly... profit. Plus Developers get paid like... %10 of any profits Square gains. You know where a lot of the money goes to.
But considering it's a port, it should be enough. Apparently, this is not the case (but Square love their money, a shame considering Enix was once the money-obsessed company. The merge left with a nasty side effect). Not like I truly care about a sequel anyway, since I'm happy with Trigger and Cross as it is.
Was wondering that too. Why not use Crono? The most used character was like... Robo? That's like using that dog in Chrono Cross.
It's just wrong.
Probably because Robo and Frog were like the strongest character. They pretty much overpowered them and max all their techs. Besides, Chrono isn't exactly the main character, therefore there's no forced control of Chrono anyway.
