That is actually a very good top ten. There isn't a game that shouldn't be up there. I don't completly agree on the order, but that is a solid top ten. That is very surprising for a public voted top ten list to be so balanced. My biggest qualms are that Earthbound was so low, and neither Mega Man nor Sonic are anywhere to be found.

I was dissapointed at how CC wasn't on there at all, but was Xenogears on there? I think that it was, but I forget...

Yeah, xenogears is on there, but I forget which number. There was a top 100 on IGN too that included more classic games and CT came in like 13 or something (I forget exactly which). But that one included atari games and stuff. I just thought this was a pretty good one for RPGs. I was also disappointed Earthbound was 46. It should've been in top 10 IMO.

The list was pretty good.
I cant belive Secret of Mana was so low on it and Mario RPG was that high.
That is my only complaint I think

Mega Man X and Sonic should have been on there as a collective series.  No way RE4 should have been at the top, even though it is of high quality.  Halo deserves to be on that list in Splinter Cell's place.

And someone want to tell me how GTA San Andreas beat A Link to the Past?

Because all of these new players haven't played it. Is there a straight LttP port? I know of four swords, but I don't recall an offical port.

The original Four Swords is a subsection of the LttP port for GBA.

Meh, such crap is always just popularity and distribution. If it's out there more than a truely great game...the game that got more plays will probably win, no matter how crap it was.

Make a Top 100 list and you have to have played every one of the games and THEN we'll see what's what...Har har.

Yeah... I was kinda sad that GTA SA Beat Lttp. GTA SA is a good game but Lttp was one of the games that got me into gaming. I was aslo angry that niether CC or any of the Sonic games even made it onto the list. But what can I say, The majority of gamers nowadays came in during the PS and N64 years IMO

Anyways, Im happy that CT got on the top 5 but Zelda OoT shoulda got the top spot even though RE4 is a really good game and aslo deserves to be in the top 10

But thats me putting my 2 cents in ^_^
