I'm glad to see someone has relieved me of the option. I got mine for something like 8 dollars and it was in mint condition. Logged CuteLucca Earthbound (+15) Posts: 28 Re: CuteLucca Auctions CT Collection « Reply #53 on: June 30, 2009, 11:19:55 am » Im not selling the regular famicom cartridge. Yes, the regular ones do go for cheap. I'm selling the ROM cartridge, the Shonen Jump cart, and the Japanese Playstation rerelease, all of which are either VERY or fairly rare. Logged Ethasus Iokan (+1) Posts: 13 Re: CuteLucca Auctions CT Collection « Reply #55 on: June 30, 2009, 03:43:20 pm » @knuckclick the link if you want to see how it looksQuote from: Wikipedia A ROM cartridge is a removable cartridge that contains read-only memory devices and, commonly, flash memory devices to allow some read-write capability. A ROM cart can be a video game played on a video game console or different software programs run within a general purpose computer. This system was popularized by early home computers such as the Atari 400/800 and Commodore 64, where a special bus port was provided for the insertion of cartridges containing software in ROM. « Last Edit: June 30, 2009, 03:45:34 pm by Ethasus » Logged Lenophis Crimson Echoes Beta Squad Porrean (+50) Posts: 73 Re: CuteLucca Auctions CT Collection « Reply #56 on: June 30, 2009, 05:28:14 pm » Quote from: CuteLucca on June 30, 2009, 11:19:55 amI'm selling the ROM cartridgeIf I were you, I'd be very careful about putting the words "ROM" and "sell" in the same sentence. Logged CuteLucca Earthbound (+15) Posts: 28 Re: CuteLucca Auctions CT Collection « Reply #58 on: June 30, 2009, 05:48:31 pm » No, no, no. Its not ROM as in 'illegally pirated game' its ROM as in 'the base game files from the preproduction phase' the ROM cartridge I have is an OFFICAL CT ITEM released by Square to stores in Japan for people to play to try out the game. It's basically the store display model of the game, and it has a TON of really interesting differences from the final cartridge. You actually think I'd be trying to sell a pirated game cart for $200??? Holy shit, the ROM cart is one of the greatest collector's items I've heard of...
