No, wait! I've figured it out!

Its that Final Fantasy Legends series! It was for the GBC back in the day, I have the cartridge for Legends III!

Shhhh, I stole the scan.

Anyway, it says "A completely new game", the title is "4 Warriors of Light" - "Final Fantasy Gaiden".
 Of course, according to the title, you'll have a party of 4 for the adventure...


It will come out in autumn 2009, Nitendo DS as a RPG.
Character design: Yoshida Akihiko

The vertical text on the right hand: 14-years-old boy battles for the first time to rescue the Princess.


The 4 character names:

ブランド Brand
ジュスカ Jusqua
ユニータ Yunita
アイレ  Aire

And it seems character's appears will change according to their equipments.

Way to go, utunnels. As happy as I am to know what game this is for, the in-game graphics are ridiculously terrible. Why do DS games need these giant-headed little children all the time?

Mav, while the capabilities of the DS are incredible as a handheld, its still a handheld. The graphics can't exactly make it to the PS1 or N64 caliber quite yet.

As for the big headedness, well, look at basically any anime for the answer to that.

Yeah, they did port Mario 64 onto DS after all...

Also, I just heard that it was FFGaiden...Which is odd because the original Seiken Densetsu had the tagline Final Fantasy Gaiden in Japan (it was FFAdventure other places)...Now THERE'S a series that needs a reboot!

Righto, but the DS is capable of better graphics than that, right? Compare it to FFIV on the DS...even that was mounds better AND the heads were smaller! It's an aesthetic choice for the big heads, but what's the excuse for the shoddy quality? Perhaps this is a mockup of some kind...

Oh and I'm sure they titled it FFGaiden just to spawn a new ever-lasting series. Blah.
