I'm uncomfortably reminded of crush films. From what little I understand of them, small kittens are a common target of such media.

I started cracking up as soon as Crono opened the bag, so I guess that puts my sense of humor pretty safely in the "horrible, horrible person" category.

(Lovin' your stuff, mysticalpha.)

I love you =p

Apparently 025 was a love/hate thing for people. They either cry foul on the cat stomping or they laughed their asses off. Should I bother correcting this on the next comic?

alpha, I'm of the opinion that comedy exists outside the realms of typical morality, especially since you're using the medium of fictional animation. People laugh at Peter Griffin shooting his daughter, but that doesn't mean they shoot their own daughters. As long as you use proper common sense and tact(for example, not telling dead baby jokes in front of a crowd of expecting mothers), there's nothing wrong with poking fun at beating up a kitten.

Although, as a side note, I wonder why this comic is the one that elicited such a outcry, rather than the one a few comics ago that had a rather exaggerated drawing of Magus' penis. Nothing in particular wrong with that, but I do fail to see how that is considered funny if this one is considered morally wrong.

@truthordeal: Isn't it obvious?  A giant codpiece filler is far more common on the Internet than mutilated pets.  We're desensitized to the former but not the latter.

Right, no fix! I'm moving on to my original idea for 026. I know I'm not going to please everyone and they can't all be winners.

Isn't it obvious? Giant "codipiece filler" is stinking hilarious. And awesome. Partially because a lot of people expected it. Crono isn't usually seen as the type to beat up cats, but that's what makes it funny. Maybe he even got XP from it! Frankly, it seems like something that would be seen in lots of old cartoons.

Though I have to wonder... will that joke from the statue page raise any questions amongst the party when they meet Magus in his castle?

Oh don't worry I'm gonna touch on that subject again ;)
