Hopefully his lengthy senate career and outstanding achievements will continue to influence politics and politicians long after this day. RIP. It's sad to see that whole generation of the Kennedy family finally come to an end. The torch has been passed indeed. Rest in peace. I thought there were descendants. Still, he contributed a remarkable breakthrough in politics. I am expecting a nationwide broadcast for his funeral. May hey rest in peace. He fought bravely till the end. Logged Lord J Esq Moon Stone J Hero of Time (+5000) Posts: 5463 ^_^ "Ayla teach at college level!!" Alas, nothing lasts forever, especially not life. Let us remember these folk as they should be, with honor. It's the equivalent of me making a thread about the death of the Pope and telling him to "rest in peace" despite opposing his positions and the very existence of his title. Supporting health care reform would at least be a sincere eulogy rather than forum opportunism. And the naming of the bill is not an honor or to memorialize him, its a sick grab at support.Still he did pass on and I wish no more harm or ill will to his family as they mourn.
