Pip's Idea Came From Nu?

Check the demo dialogue arts, likely the position was reserved for Pip? Since the portraits are sorted by their in game IDs.
  Maybe an evolving Nu like Spekkio, what do you think?

Well, Pip's profile says that he's a New Lifeform (what that pertains to, I don't know).

Anyways, I wouldn't say for sure if Pip did get his "idea" (what that is, I don't know) from a Nu.  Seeing how he evolves like Spekkio--

You know what? I wouldn't say he evolves like Spekkio. I mean, Spekkio, in theory, might be a Nu. However, no other Nu in the game evolves like Spekkio does, and the Nu only appear in the designated time eras the characters visit.

For now, I don't think Pip is a Nu, or that it got its "idea" from a Nu.

I thought we already knew they ended up not giving us a Nu since they had the portrait art for one (though perhaps it could have been used for the name changer)...

Yeah, ZeaLitY did that back in 2007 when we figured out how to acquire some of the art resources properly in PSicture. I'm pissed that they gave us Pip in the place of, possibly, Spekkio. He's the only other Nu who we know evolved like that.

Aye, the comparison between Spekkio and Pip has been made before...So I wouldn't say it's a stretch that Pip (at least in theory) was based slightly off Spekkio...
