Sorry couldn't join you guys tonite. Lol, kinda ironic but what I ended up doing was playing poker with friends from ~8-11 pm. But we didn't have to just stick to hold em so we varied between 4 variations of poker (dealer got to chose). Poker = fun... especially when betting is impossible. lol.

I'm still curious as to whether or not there are any pinochle players here.  I'm thinking about hitting up the Yahoo pinochle tables in my spare time.

I have never played pinochle! But I am certainly willing to give it a shot. Next Saturday, maybe? How many players does it take?

It's a game usually played by two teams of two.  The only other ways to play, that I'm aware of, are three individuals, or two individuals and a dummy hand.  It's definitely not suitable for large groups, unless you have two simultaneous games going, and the tables exchange the scoop on how much everybody is cheating, over beer of course. 

It's also possibly the weirdest card game one will learn in their lifetime, next to bridge.
