Awesome! Thanks for sharing that. Was Mitsuda involved directly in any way?

i love the frog theme worked into the second part. the whole thing is pretty well done, but medleys tend to leave me wanting more. this one was very satisfying, however.

Jesus, that was orgasmic. I swear, if Mitsuda doesn't release that symphonic album, I'm gonna stalk him like there's no tomorrow. We've waited too long already  :(

:hellyeah

This is an AMAZING find. How awesome is this? I can't believe that there was a decision to do this. I mean a whole symphonic arrangement to chrono music... and then have a symphony play it! Ahhhh! I've heard FF symphony music, and nintendo, but this is just so much more awesome XD.

That was phenomenal.  So beautiful.  Thank you so much for sharing.

I actually cried while listening to it, and at the end I clapped (my roommate must think I'm crazy...especially since I was wearing headphones  :D ).

This is one of those things that I'll listen to, in this case watch as well, while the entire time I'm thinking, "No way!"  Almost too cool to be believed.

Thanks Dialga!

Lavos also made the final boss medley.  (In style I might add!  Edit: Although it gets cut off way too early for guess who...)

As well as Flammie, which I thought was neat.  Sensible I guess, since they did a SoM medley.  (Sorry if I just spoiled the ending of SoM for anybody!)

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit!

I just watched that twice in a row.  Absolutely awesome!!!!!  I was mildly disappointed with Magus' theme, but still enjoyed it.  Dummer dude was off the chain.  Felt bad for triangle guy, though it did sound good.

Flammie! Best boss battle ever! Or at least one of the best boss battles ever.

The whole SoM final boss sequence is awesome, from Fanha onwards, but Thanatos and Flammie in particular are truly incredible fights. The fight against Flammie is so awesome not only because it, of necessity, lasts for a long time, but, even more so, because of how it fits into the story: The premise is that the Mana Beast will destroy the world by flying into the Mana Fortress, which is a difficult premise to execute graphically, but they did it fairly well, and the idea itself of the world ending because something crashed into something else is so compelling that I adapted the idea for use in my own novel.

Dummer dude was off the chain.  Felt bad for triangle guy, though it did sound good.

Chances are the triangle guy was an auxiliary percussionist, so he probably played other instruments like castanets, 2x4's (whip crack), sleigh bells, suspended cymbals, etc.

The name of the particular drum that one guy was playing is escaping me.  He was fantastic.
