AD 1005 Character Art
« on: October 10, 2009, 03:33:39 pm »
The purpose of this thread is that I want to supply new character art for the characters of Chrono Trigger assuming five years has past.  Some characters, like Ayla, would likely not change significantly over this.

The first drawing I had my wife complete was the following, which I call:  Prince Chrono, Lord Protector of Guardia

,

Princess Nadia

Any thoughts?

I will put up others as they are finished.

Very cool! I love the style--sharp edges, clear style. Good, good. Your wife did a great job making him look like a noble and a skilled swordsman.

He doooes look like a Prince.
Only thing I have to point out is(what most miss in fanart)that his hair shouldn't be so perfectly up if he's lacking his headband. I could be wrong, but that's probably why it sticks up. Unless your wife's style was that it's naturally that way!(that's what most people assume and that the headband was just to look cool)

He is still wearing the headband...its on his scabbard.  And who says he has to be wearing on his head to have his hair stand up?  Besides, I took the Bandana off as soon as I got the Speed Belt.

1.) Well, character designs in RPGs never change no matter what you put on! Except in Radiata Stories, sole exception.
2.) I meant like standing up so tall. But I guess that isn't really important since everyone has different art styles.
3.) That Marle is amazing. I love it.

Agreed, that Marle is awesome! Alt. Marle designs always seem so... not Marle. But your wife nailed her. No Crono getting laid jokes either, I'm serious!

I like the Lucca. Seems more laid back, relaxed and like she's gonna settle down. Which fits her and her going into the orphanage thing perfectly for being after CT's events. Once again, amazing job.
