Is Gatiss just writing or is he directing as well? His episodes tend to be a little more on the corny side, but I really like how dark and scary the Moffat era has been, so it might not be bad.

Is it just me or did somebody notice the Sherlock Holmes-esq "I knew that you knew that I knew that you knew" in Let's Kill Hitler?

ALL HAIL THE RAGGEDY MAN! I offer you my undying faith, like Amy did in God Complex, and await your blessed, divine words that echo, "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."

Quote
Doctor Who teaches me I just don't know everything. Horrible events can occur for reasons explained in lost episodes or laws of physics too dense for my blogger's mind and that doesn't mean we are lost or unloved. There is the possibility of a god who roots for us, loves us, and grieves for us just like the Doctor. And a god who has saved us so many times and in so many ways we've never known.

So I just saw the latest episode. Somebody should really put spoiler tags in the thread title. I caught that a mile away! Though it was satisfying.

I loved it.  I thought it was fantastic.

Additionally, now it is my life goal to be described as "hell in high heels".  Pity I don't actually wear high heels.  =/

For those who have seen the new Christmas special, please tell me I'm not crazy...the new music that plays is from Chrono Trigger, right? I'm not just hearing things?

I haven't seen the latest Christmas special yet (it doesn't air so early in India, and my cable service provider decided to remove BBC Entertainment because apparently nobody but me watches it).

But that reminds me to ask Bekkler and Thought: you must have seen the "Asylum of Daleks" episode, right? Doesn't it eerily have similar concepts with Daleks to what we had in mind for Cybermen when planning our top secret "Endless Game"? By "eerily similar" it even had an equivalent to our Sherley!

I gave it a second listen, and while it isn't a note for note copy, I'd be comfortable calling it an homage.

I've actually stopped watching DW to be honest.  It's not as interesting to me as it used to be and I'm incredibly fickle when it comes to TV shows.  It was fun while it lasted though!
