I might have to, especially to get system basics down.

Also, is there any kind of special coding you want done? Such as a caterpillar or anything like that?

could do it legend of dragoon style/ff7. I had a caterpillar system in one of my rpg maker games, I think it was for xp though (or vx), not 2k3. it was flawless too, but I designed my levels with the system in mind, you cant really do that with a good portion of these chrono games seeing as how some of the areas are taken from an already made game. the best I could tell you is to emulate it as close to CT as possible, the speed of movement and milliseconds of lag the the other persons take before following the leader.

Caterpillar would be amazing, and I think I need to learn how to "Code" a scene, so I can have an opening. For example, Chrono Echoes has the Montcrief/Dalton intro.

Ah. Just to warn you about Caterpillar System, cutscenes fuck up. A lot. At least in 2003, anyway.

Here's what some of the coding looks like. This is the Porre Camp intro scene from Chrono Echoes.

That is how code should be, that looks ridiculously easy compared to Actionscript.

Yea if it's one thing about 2k3, it makes coding easy(easier at least not necessarily a piece of cake).

Ya, indeed. I could easily learn this type of code.

I know C++, Lua, Pascal, Java, etc. but RM2k3 seems so templated I find it confusing!

Just like any programming language, it just takes a little finesse and a lot of patience.

It's just too simplified to know what I'm doing...
