Being Enertron related does sound like a sound theory, considering its structure. Also: "More Zealian Marvels," tonight at 8 on the history channel. Hah.

Hey, prehistoric people sell guns too. This easily falls under "necessity of game mechanics," but if that's hard to accept, then try believing that the official art doesn't have to apply to every version of the Shelter in the game. It's a "shelter," meaning it could be a hideskin tent, a cloth abode, or a futuristic container.

YEah its like if you play any of the star ocean games. People living in the middle ages comparitivly on other planets are able to create laser shields and ray guns.

Maybe Lucca specifically asks the prehistoric "blacksmith" to build each gun, telling him what it is and how to make it.

That could be a good explanation, since the Ruby Gun and Dream Gun do use prehistoric materials (the latter would correctly be named Dreamstone Gun if the character limit in CT would let it).
