A couple sculptures I've done. I hope to get a bunch of different characters done as I find time to do so lol.

Lavos Spawn
Done with air-drying clay, painted with acrylic paint. Roughly 5" tall







Gaspar
Sculpey, painted with acrylic paint. Roughly 5"tall

Thanks guys, glad you like them. I have a half-completed Nu right now and I plan on doing more characters. I'm working my way up in difficulty lol.

Good stuff! There should be an episode of Gumby where Gumby bumps into Lavos.

I love how Gaspar's head kind of looks like a maoi in the side view.

Haha yeah I can see the resemblance. I am so horrible at head proportion it's ridiculous. Plus, Gaspar looks like he has a hunch back in the game so recreating that with the head size/position was hard. I also thought about painting over the blue in the Lavos Spawn's mouth. I can't decide if it looks right or not..

well when you finish that Nu show us, I attempted the same thing in 8th grade art class and failed miserably. are you going for 'the Nu' or spekkio, the pink bastard?

you could probably make money selling these to fans and whatnot, if you made enough of them. Pretty talented work, can't wait to see more.

robo would be the hardest party member, pretty well ALL the bosses would be tuff. I'd love to see a rolyrider

I am doing the actual Nu. I'm doing it out of colored sculpey premo so it won't need painted either. It a bit of a pain since he's a bit top-heavy, but I'll probably put him on a base like gaspar to take care of that.

I would go crazy trying to make these to sell. I don't think it would be fun anymore however money is always nice. It takes time and patience just to make one, and if I had more of that I could've probably made the ones I had better lol.

You're right on Robo, however making a charector's face and head look right especially if I make Chrono look like the artwork from the game it's really hard. And a Rolyrider sounds like a great choice for my next one....

I couldn't agree more on making the 3 mystic generals. I'd love to do that. Geez I'm going to have to buy a display case if I keep this up!

I really can't wait to finish him. He really is a lovely blue color.
