Rear window vehicle decals
« on: June 10, 2010, 11:01:43 am »
Made these a few months ago out of white adhesive vinyl and an exacto knife. I don't know if this would qualify as fan art but I didn't know where else to put it. It is the Chrono Trigger logo, Half Life 2 logo, and The Elder Scrolls logo. I didn't do the Scoobytruck.com one.

Oh, darn, those look good enough to sell. I wonder if you could get some kind of license from Square Enix and the other companies to do that? There've been news reports about high schoolers making fortunes off little stickers and thingies.

In any case, the Compendium has a section on Tattoos and sculptures in its fanart archive, so this should fit in nicely!

Haha thanks, that's my Subaru Baja. I make these by hand with an exacto-knife so selling them would be more work than it's worth, although the prospect sounds nice :)

mate that's called the profit motive. if it costs 30 dollars to make something and you sell it for 'more than it's worth' at say 40 bucks, thats called your profit margin, how much money you make. if you only sold things for their worth, there would be no capitalism, just bartering like back in the old days. not too mention licensing would add more to that 30 bucks, narrowing the profit margin further.
