SNES ROM's......

Where can I get them? Whenever I find the ones I'm looking for, they're Japanese, or something is wrong with the download, or something like that. Is there a specific site where I can get SNES ROM's that actually work? Thanks!

you must harness the power of it. Tip: view sites with cache instead of just clicking them, in case they're malicious or spam the living hell out of you.

Zophar's Domain is only about the emulation community, such as the actual emulators and homebrewed demos, not ROMs.

i will not tell you that if you go to the fantasy anime site that thier are many a emulation links which includes roms. No im not going to tell you cause it would not be good

Well, although it looks like the IDSA, now known the ESA, has ruined getting a few of their Titles (the saddest being the Metroid series & the FF series), I think romnation's a good place none-the-less...

The best way to gather SNES Roms that you want is through LimeWire, it works for me anyways.  You can find almost anything includings hacks through it.  Thats how i got Chrono Trigger on my new computer (well that and a disc i burned earlier)

Welll i wouldent dare try to get any rom thru any psp that isnt bit torrent. Theres too much danger that there are trojans viruis and other Malware embedded in them.


Ive gotten all my roms off of various websites that scoured the ol interweb for. welll that and got some from other people and such.

But if someone really wants to get roms. The quickest would be to get bit torrent client (i use bit tornado) then go to a decent bt site and usually they have a rom section under games. and usually you can dl a bulk of your system of choice.

You could also find someone with a decent collection (like me) who is willing to hook you up or trade stuff for them

I was wondering isn't ROMs illegals if you doesn't own the cartridge (working or not) or you can play with them 24 hour then you msut delte them?

The 24 hour thing is nonsense. ROMs are just like any other copyrighted media (i.e. film, music, books), and downloading/playing games you don't own doesn't constitute "fair use" in any way. There's no gray area. It's simply illegal.

Illegal doesn't mean morally wrong though, and anyone who equates the two is a fool. Copyright law is severely outdated for the age we live in.
