Wow, these are great. I'll release them after the big update so they won't be lost in all that mess. They'll be a bona fide Feature in the Features section.

Hah, you can still be! Race for second edition is still up and running. ;P

Welcome to Chrono Compendium, by the way!

I think I shall :) What is the size of these so I can keep consistent? :)

@ZeaLity: Thanks! XD Just don't include the Lucca version yet; still need permission to use that, but I doubt I ever will. Apparently the art was done by someone not from dA, and the one who has hosted it is still asking.

@Lady Marle: Just follow the link below and all's good.  :P The template size is pre-set, so once done, simply "Save As" and select "PNG". DPI by default is 300.

Do note that we need at least six artworks to release the second edition. We've got two, minus the Lucca version. Haha it'd rock to have a KZ, Marle, Ayla and Dalton version.  :kz

I'm having trouble editing the template. Is there a specific program that you use to do this?

Ah yes, I was using Photoshop CS4 (although CS2 should be fine too). What program are you using? I'll rasterize the template for you in case of problems (provided the power returns today; blackouts struck =S).

Well, if it's only one piece of art (the Lucca one), we can always use the tried and true Commandeer button and wait until we get a request to take it off.

I've never dealt with Photoshop before, nor with .psd files for that matter. I mainly use Paint Shop Pro 6 and Paint.NET, and neither of those support .psd files as far as I know. So I downloaded a demo version of CS4, and after much trial-and-error figured out most of what I need to modify the template. I still can't seem to add an image to the background though. Any advice?

Hmm I haven't much experience with Paint Shop Pro or Paint.Net either, but I'll look into it. Are you familiar with GIMP? It's capable of opening PSD, but I'll require to rasterize the layer blending options and also forward the font to you.

If you aren't familiar with it, I'll see what I can do. Most likely I'll hand you a transparent PNG or a format with native Paint Shop Pro support. Gimme some time.

Also, in Photoshop, you can add a background image by going to the bottom-most layer (actually, the lowest layer, but above the Background layer; you can create an empty one there). Simply drag and drop an image from your folder onto Photoshop, and drag the layer onto the lowest level.

Paint Shop Pro does theoretically have an import filter for PSDs, but unfortunately PSP6 won't handle files from any recent version of Photoshop. PSP's native multilayer format uses the .psp extension; the GIMP will read that format (sort of--I haven't tried it recently, but it used to bugger up the layer offsets), but not save it. PSP6 also behaves weirdly upon loading PNGs--or even GIFs--with transparency, if I recall correctly.

(Yeah, I used to use PSP6 before I switched over completely to Linux--damned thing won't run under WINE. If I could get it to work, I would probably go back to it, since the interface is roughly an order of magnitude better than the GIMP's or Photoshop's.)

Not bad! But do ya want Lynx and Magus ones colorless? If so, I can make the top borders black and white too just to make em look better.

Also, I didn't make that Magus art. XDDD You might wanna credit the right artist in that bookmark by linking to their website.

:o Gah! Dang it. I thought I put the right link in there. I'll fix that.

As for the colors, I'll go ahead and make the borders black and white too while I'm at it.
