On the subject of pranks, my Senior Prank is gonna be RickRolling first my Third Period (out of four periods lasting from 7:30 AM EST to 2:15 PM EST) class, and then RickRolling my whole school on the Weekly Update. I suggested it to one of the guys that does the show, and the rest is up to them. If it doesn't happen, then my Third Period will be the only one getting RickRolled.

Lame senior prank. Surely you can come up with something better than that? My friends and I cemented in the school entrance with cinderblocks. Which was hilarious, until the janitors went in a back way and pushed the wall down from the inside.

And back on the topic of porn, I too agree that the Compendium probably shouldn't catalogue hentai. Hell there are plenty of great sites for that already. Doesn't mean we can't have a discussion about it though.

The first time I was 'rickrolled' was when a friend of mine was directing me to some Starcraft II cinematic videos. There were four links; three of them were great videos, and the fourth was the rickroll. I watched through the whole thing, thinking it was just a nice little music video the guy was super eager to share. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why he was so disappointed afterward.

First time I was RickRolled was when me and my brother were looking at Nine Inch Nails vids and saw a "banned" version of The Perfect Drug, which was only the first few seconds before cutting to Astley.

Second time was New Year's Eve 2009 (Dec. 31, 2008) while I was looking at vids of the Over 9000 meme. I lawled harder than ever when it happened.

While I agree that the Compendium is probably best w/o hentai (I guess), I don't see what you and/or your virtues has to do with it.

I personally think the compendium should catalog it, just because we have it on hand doesn't mean we have to open a gallery.

I love to archive every bit of art I ever find. And uploading stuff and HTML'ing it is one of my fortes. Heck, I'm one of the main pillars of uploading over at Rule34. I don't know, I'd be willing to do that sort of thing as an off-branch sort of job. Not saying, of course, it ever HAS to happen...

We'd have to find a way to present it; would it go in the fan art section? The manga on DeviantArt is troublesome also because it's not finished, so it's like I'd have to keep going back and checking every week to see if a new piece came about. It's tough doing that on top of checking remixing sites and reading these forums every day to look at new submissions and make notes to post about.

Tis why you recruit willing and able volunteers as such as I. I upload daily to Paheal because I have a list of sights I frequent.

I suppose if it ever came down to it, the doujin-style stuff would fit best in the Fanart section indeed. You could take a look at the currently developing comic uploader at rule34c.paheal.net for an idea of a possible presentation format for that sort of thing. Right now I'm assisting beta testing and have uploaded 15+ comics there.

Doing black bars would add a lot of black page space to some of the pics I have.

I try to keep my archive of high stanards, so about 70% of what's up in Paheal I've passed on.  Especially that latest Flea doujin...  Seriously Yoko, wtf?   

I found one risque pic in mine that falls into a PG13 rating, so enjoy this alternate record of the Day of Lavos.
