I was just wondering, since I really know next to nothing about ROM hacking (h4x0ring if you must) if there was a kind of timeframe for when this would be close to done or like, when a demo could be expected...or like, what percentage is done so far? Maybe I just want some kind of numbered update, I guess...

?_?

well right now its just the stage where ill be spiting everyones chars and some bosses and enemies and that might take awhile, but when thats done and i put this into RPG maker (as long as it lets me do what i want) and get the engine set up probally a month and a bit, but for now its just spriting.

overall if things go smoothly it might be done around november if not december or january, cause if RPG maker dosent let me do what i want i might have to get someone who knows how to program in somthing like VB.

once i get the game engine working ill release a demo soon after that.

Awesome, though I don't see Sentenal's...

Oh, and you don't have to use that fancy Hadoken...I'd rather see Hadoken animated over fancy...Maybe just that w/o the fireball end? That way you could just animate the stream of light going toward the enemies or w/e...Also, you've totally gotta give me a stabby implement

edit: okay, I can see it now.

All of my suggestions shall be OCReMixes...

(because they rock and because they're the easiest for me to get links to right now)

Children of the Monkey Machine's Chrono Trigger mix Ocean Palace (Wave Breaker)

Children of the Monkey Machine's Chrono Trigger mix Magus Temporal Rehab - Although I think his (vs Injury) Magus (Decay of Hope) is better, since DoH has some voice samples, it might sound...weird or something...

Children of the Monkey Machine's Seiken Densetsu 2/Secret of Mana mix Pure Lands (Total Darkness)

djpretzel's Chrono Trigger mix Revival Day Impoetus

mazedude's Doom 2 mix Barrels O' Fun - I just plain love when it bounces off the speakers around 2:25...beautimous.

That's about it (unless you could somehow fit in the techno rap-heavy Beatdrop DDR4M mix Dazed & Destroyed  )...If nothing else, they're all just good remixes.

edit: Oh yeah, how could I forget!

Dale North's Chrono Trigger mix Time Circuits High Voltage - It rocks your socks off.

wow long list oh andyou can submit mutiple songs at least one will be in the game but if there is a need for more tunes in the game ill use the extra MP3's so yeah

my MP3 : VGMix  Arkangel by Alastair II Terranigma remix

and my second MP3 : Blue by Ziwtra Terranigma remix

(most of the music in the game will be fitting so even I only get  1 or 2 MP3s of choice since they're not ment to be fitting just bonus's for the people in the game)

and V_T you and I get 2 MP3's in the game since we are on both sides.

Oh, ok, so, do you mean like for our battles or something? If that's the case then I'd go for that CotMM's Oceam Palace (Wave Breaker) and Dale North's Time Circuits High Voltage...And actually, if you could bear to put in Beatdrop's Dazed & Destroyed (instead of Dale North's Time Circuits High Voltage, I guess), that'd be awesome.

Everything else, I guess, was just suggestions for various filler music then

Is a .mid file okay?  I don't have mp3 music.  Well, here are 2 of my choice:

FF4 theme, pwnage (The Prologue):  http://www.ffonline.com/media/music/ff4/ff4-The_Prologue.mid

FF4 music, Red Wings: http://www.ffonline.com/media/music/ff4/ff4-Red_Wings.mid[/url]

Oh yeah! The Red Wings' Theme is awesome. But I'd try and find an orchestrated version really...midi doesn't properly show off how badass that theme is...
