Attila the Hun died of a nose-bleed.

But I don't see Crono staying back in Guardia castle, waiting assassination.  I see it more likely that hes behind enemy lines.

Why would he killed Porre people?

I think if Lavos' death affected so much the porre that they became blood thirsty it a good idea, but since qe don't actually know the porre objectives, maybe Crono wouldn't interfe(sp?)

Your question is stupid.  Look at how Crono dealt with every 'enemy' force in CT.  He always did surgical strikes on their base.  I never said go slaughter people in porre.

Crono did slaughter the (more than) one hundred Mystics in Magus' Castle though.

Maybe Crono didn't even know what was going on...Maybe he was just chillin in Truce or on (affectionatly called) Ashtear Island w/Lucca.

Ooooo...I like the sound of that (Ashtear Isle I mean).

Anyway, the point is, almost every1 agrees that Crono would not have stayed behind and acted like a sissy hiding in the castle dungeons or something, he MUST have done something to help his own Kingdom. I say OWN, becuase, as is stated at this thread's title: King Crono???.

He would not forsake his own Kingdom if he was the King.

But, it all comes down to wether Crono was King or not. If he wasn't, thing could be a lot different, like V_Translanka said, he could have been chillin at Ashtear Isle! :)

Yes that's my theory (the ermit one). I think it probably the best if we don,t accept that Crono nose bleeded to death.

SE would have never made Crono or any of those characters die by stuff like nose-bleeds, its too simple. A hero gives off that aura of "undying" remember.

No, if Crono died, he would have died in battle, which seems to be the most sensible idea at the moment. The whole exile thing just doesnt seem right to me...

Sure, that Crono died in battle seems most likely.  But anything could have happened.  Maybe Crono was banished to a parallel universe. Or to the future.  Or maybe he fled to the future for some (undoubtedly honourable) reason. I'm just raising these possibilities because we may be forced to swallow them if a Chrono Cross sequel comes out that stars Crono.

Thrown into the future is something I never heard of before in the Fall of Guardia and Crono dieing discussions. Very nice. Maybe the Porreans, when they found the Elements from the Dragonians, the Dragonians themselves had the power to MAKE temporary Gates, the Porreans then learnt that power, maybe the Porre leader of the assault made one and sent Crono into the future, past wherever!!

PS: He's probably floating around somewhere watching us type this!

Maybe Crono became anorexic and died....
...
jk

I didn't play Crono Cross but it seems like Square just didn't want Crono in the game

Maybe he never even married Nadia/Marle, maybe she dumped him (teen love, ya know?) and he got so upset he commited suicide or something WAY before Porre attacked.

Don't forget he was only 16 in CT

that means hes 20 by the time of the Fall of Guardia. Old enough to marry.

As I said before, it all comes down to wether Crono was King or not (same as marrying Marle, then he would be prince but still same thing).

Hang on, just found something against that: What if King Guardia XXXIII (Marle's father) never died?? I just know some1 is gonna ask that!

Well, what if King Guardia led the first defence bu was killed? Crono would then take the throne and the leader of Guardia and the army!

You implied that Crono would go behind enemy lines and slaughter civilians, by saying 'Porre people.'  I doubt you ment the Porrean army, because that would be obvious.

Crono DID marry Marle, it was a big scene in the ending of the PSX version.  If there is another Chrono game, you can bet Crono's fate will be a subject.
