Just beat the SoM upgrade for iOS. I can't recall the original translation, but this version did end up mentioning how the Vandole Empire received it's power from the Underworld. It also addressed how the Flammies (White Dragons) are related to the Mana Beast(s).
Wanting to play SoM2... Eventually. First, gotta tackle Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
Gotta say, Secret of Mana is such an amazing game. Although dated (nearly 20 years old), the music and gameplay were innovative and fabulous.
