Actually, it's not only there. It's charmed off Nus (Or so RPG Classics says) so you can get it in Cursed Woods, Zeal and the Hunting Range.

Shame no one knows how to get Janus though...I know DarkGizmo does secretly...

You're right oh well I'll tell it public, anyway it's no fun if you,r ethe only one who knows it so there it is

To get Janus it's hard but you have to play the game in millinear fair and get the max can of cat food, when you' first see Janus talk to alfador, he'll smell the cat food on Crono and will follow him, now go open the three books (that will open the secret area) doN,t remember if ti's kajar or enhasa, now entert the room, alfador will follow you to the room. Wait for 20 to 25 min and Janus will come looking for alfador now sneak behind him and press the talk button Crono will know him out like the guards in Guardia Prison. now you have 1 hours exactly (do not save it will not work from now on!), and play until Crono die, you need to kill Magus. Get the clone and all and when walking on the frozen screen go talk to Magus the team will exachange knocked out Janus for Magus. Now go back to Last Village he'll be there with alfador, talk to him with the amulet equiped to someone (the one Magus dropped he died/ran away) and Janus will think that you know where is Schala and will join you.

Its Kajar every1, and yes, it can take a LONG TIME to do this (considering its difficulty).

I find things like that EXTREMELY dubious.....I don't see why Square would bother doing something as complicated as that....I think it's a fake one

You must have done something wrong, because I don't see how something on the internet could be false (BTW have you learned about the half-burned-cat false post?, if not check this out:

and before you do anything check this out

I just don't see how these are funny at all in the Compendium since we all know so much about the game...like the ROM coding...the character limits...the available overworld sprites...etc etc...

Are you being serious? I WANT SCHALA! Stop destroying my hopes >.>

===========================
Time to tell you a story:

When I was 6, It was the first time I played CT. After the Ocean Palace incident, I cried because Schala was so cool. And I was soo sad after the game that there was no game after, until 4 years later when square made CC. And this year was the first time I played it... Square ruined my perspective on Schala because I didn't want Kid to be herself, I wanted Kid to be like Schala. The only reason why I didn't play CC till now was because whenever I read a review on CC or a walkthrough, there were these weird characters, no Schala, Crono and co etc.

The End.

I think the one to get Cyrus is much more entertaining to do, I should find it sometime. There was also one for Gaspar, but it was really dumb.

That's sad, considering Gasper was actually supposed to be a party member.

Hmm...  I think originally the "recruit Gaspar" thing wasn't a secret procedure or anything...  I don't remember when in the game, but there's a point when Gaspar says "I'd love to join you but I'm too old for this" or something.  I'm guessing that's when he would have joined you.  I think it's when he tells you about how to revive Crono.

Anyway...
