In my opinon, Schala either merged back with Kid, and Schala became the dominant again, or otherwise Schala is free and so is Kid. But if that is, then what does Schala do in this new life? A life without Janus.. A life without her mother... What would be the point? She pretty much has nothing to live for...

So I'm going to say that Schala and Kid merged, It's Schala Body, Schala's soul, but Kid becomes a bit of her subconsious.

It doesn't make sense for them to merge because they aren't dimensional twinners. Kid is just Schala's clone. It's like being a sister really. Do sisters merge together in the Ideal? I think not.

Yeah, Schala does talk like Kid in the ending, and she actually "signs" as Schala "Kid" Zeal... that really hints to them merging.
