A thought about Belthasar
« on: July 05, 2005, 04:14:20 am »
Hmm, I've just finished CC again last night, and I've loaded up my save file before the Final Battle and decided to go and do some last minute exploring. My trip led me to Viper Manor, where I found Belthasar was no where to be found. I've expected this much, but when I tried to go and take one last look at the Neo Epoch, the door was locked!

Now, I always thought the Neo Epoch was a nice bonus, but nothing to give that much attention to. I found it odd the developers would actually give the time to even cover the Neo Epoch, which means it's important to the storyline. Belthasar probably repaired the Neo Epoch, and went to some other time to witness the effects of Serge's battle.

I wonder where he went, though. Any thoughts?

maybe it will all link on to Chrono Break/next game in series. No doubt they would be Belthasar in the next game.

Hmm, I would think that maybe Melchior should play a bigger role in the third. I mean, Gasper gave the CT kids the first Time Egg, Belthasar gave Serge the second Time Egg. It only makes sense that Melchior gives the third.

But maybe it does connect to CB, after all. I just wonder if he went anywhere BESIDES the CB year.

It has been talked about before that Melchior should play a bigger role in Chrono Break/next game.

Which I couldn't agree on more.

Yes, well, I'm sure you do, but my question regards Belthasar. Any ideas on where he might of gone?

I remember thinking that the "Chrono Break" would be a kind of time-splitting sword...ha, if Melchior was more involved this would make sense! Heh heh...

As for the Neo Epoch...I wasn't aware that it needed to be repaired...

Go to Viper Manor, check the bookcase behind the desk, go down into the basement, and you'll find the Neo Epoch. It looked crashed to me, but then again, maybe it's just me...

Yeah, I know where it is...I just don't remember it looking in disrepair...I mean, Belthasar used it to get to 1020 (or sometime before or w/e)...

Hmmm...I time-splitting sword...not bad. Dont know if u already know translanka, but the Chrono Break was theorised that it was an assassination weapon. Thats if u believe the whole thing about the game titles:

Trigger: To start something (to start this whole time mess)
Cross: To cross over (dimensions, Home, Another)
Break: To end/stop (kill, sort the time mess out)

P.S: Since you're a Zurvan Surfer, u probably already know but...
P.P.S: What exactly is a Zurvan Surfer??

I'm guessing it's a reference to the Sea of Zurvan that Schala mentions in the 'good' ending of Chrono Cross...and I guess I surf on it somehow...with my surfboard made of many posts...

Break means also to destroy, but can also mean to end.

And I think a Zurvan Surfer is just a title. Nothing to get excited about.
