Here's an update with my attempt at that utility arm! The leather is pretty much just a placeholder for the moment.

Tushantin, I am using 3ds max so the formats I could give you would be 3ds, fbx, obj, etc

Here is an update:

Could use some more rust I think in a few spots. What do you guys think? Also, what type of scene would you like to see him in?

Epic! Rust... erm, I would think that you wouldn't see much rust, as Lucca fixed him up pretty well. However, I would like to see him... um... DANCE! YES, DANCE FOOLS! ALL SHALL BOW BEFORE ME AS THEY DANCE, DANCE BABY!

BEHOLD MY ARMY OF LAUGHTER! BEHOLD IT!

Seriously now, I don't care what scene he's in so long as I can see that epic robot works.

What would be great would be to have him smashing the exterminator robots that are attacking Lucca in the animated opening. Given, for pretty much any scene that you do, you're going to have to make more characters. All of the tiny bits of scrap and sparks from the robots being smashed may take awhile, especially making each one look like it's been crunched in different spots.

An alternative would be to have him when he fires his fist at the Black Tyrano. You'd have less extras to worry about when it comes to making individual characters and background. Besides, imagine how satisfying it would be to get that dinosaur done.

Another one you could do, one that would probably be the easiest, would be to do the duel between him and Atropos. Just a bit of recoloring and a turquoise bow on the back of her head. You could also do the Mother Brain. You wouldn't have to try and texture everything, just leave it glossy and give it some coloration, maybe have the computers in the background.

Regardless of what scene you have him in, I think he'd look great. He's pretty much exactly as I'd imagined him to be, and unless you were to zoom in to ridiculous degrees to get each little grain on the cloth or something, you couldn't have done better. Great job!

Rust spots and some chipped blue paint would be awesome. The blue paint because the other R-Series that were better preserved, at the Factory, were colored blue.

Manly Man: Great ideas.. some would take considerable time to accomplish, though. For starters I might throw him in a scene alone just to showcase the model.

Boo: Good point. I meant that to look like rust around the edges of things/bottoms of legs but it probably just looks like grime or dirt.

Also forgot some details on the cloth.

More rust. Hearty rust. I mean, the guy laid dormant for 300 years. :)

Yes, but Lucca's a wiz when it comes to fixing things. She got him from dormant to totally operational in one cutscene!

May I suggest either a border or some kind of metal studs lining the leather straps? Also, he looks quite pristine, maybe add some cosmetic damage? Dents, rust holes, maybe even a crack or two. It'd also be cool if his eyes glowed a bit, like lightbulbs.

Right now he looks like he could show up in a very modern game and just fit right in. Forgot to mention that. And I love the Popeye-forearms and MegaMan-calves. I know it's Toriyama's design but your model allows the innate style of Robo to pop.

If you're still taking suggestions for scenes to do, I'd like to see him in a dome, like the one they find him in, or the one with the video of Lavos in 1999. Other characters aren't necessary just to see Robo in his "natural" environment (though it would be cool, it would also take way more time).

The answer that begs to be said: Never gonna give you up, Never gonna let you down, Never gonna turn around and desert you!  8) Rollin'!

Actually should be easy in a way. XD A simple plane + UV Sphere + some lights. The floor can be metallic, the sphere could have a texture of metallic walls and futuristic ceilings, and some lights can do the trick.

Those glowing eyes could work best with volumetrics, though.

Hey guys, I've been slacking on this project but I have rigged the model and made a new composition. Still planning the final shot, he'll have some dents and loose wires/etc.
