It was just the whakky censorship of those early days...There's plenty more...CT wasn't just censored to hell, things were also taken out because of constraints such as cart limitations and the ever prevelent time restrictions...We can't blame Ted completely. Here's a Link to a FAQ based off of Hyena20's many translational findings Logged Chrono'99 Guru of Reason Emeritus God of War (+3000) Posts: 3605 translation « Reply #2 on: July 06, 2005, 06:16:33 am » Yeah, some censored (or mistranslated) stuff are corrected in CC, like God of War instead of "Master" of War, and Sage of Reason (Belthasar says this in Terra Tower) instead of "Guru" of Reason. I am replaying CT again so when I get to that point I will check and see again.~LC Logged DarkGizmo Acacia Deva (+500) Posts: 527 translation « Reply #4 on: July 06, 2005, 02:04:36 pm » Quote from: LordchanderI could have sworn Spekkio said 'God of War' in CT. I would have to check again on my SNES, but I'm currently re-playing Illusion of Gaia and Secret of Evermore lol so i'll get really mixed with the story lines Logged Ryuusai Guardian (+100) Posts: 179 translation « Reply #5 on: July 06, 2005, 02:06:16 pm » On the ROM I have he says he is the God of War. But I think he says that when you leave. But he also changes his appearence so maybe he just likes having different titles Logged Daniel Krispin Guest Re: translation « Reply #9 on: July 07, 2005, 05:21:51 am » Quote from: DarkGizmohey I learned that there were things that were remove such has "god of war", is there anymore, I'm curiousand why does they changed god to master but gived name from the bible to the gurus (except balthatzar but close enough?)Not from the Bible: only later Christian legend. The Bible never states even how many there were, only that they were wise men from the east, and that they came later far after Jesus was born in the stable (ie. to the house in Bethlehem.) X and Z are actually Arabic letters that were later accepted into the Latin Alphabet.
